Random music recommendation, courtesy of Meg:

Faouzia is a Canadian-Moroccan pop singer. She's a signed singer despite never having even taken vocal lessons, she's an engineering student, she plays the violin and the piano, and she's multilingual (she speaks English, French, and Arabic). Did I mention that she's 20 years old? That aside, she currently has a bunch of singles and one EP, which consists of "stripped versions" of songs. She is both more technically skilled (healthy voice, bigger range, able to do various cool things with her voice, etc.) and has more complicated songs than almost all pop artists these days. She also writes her songs about a wide variety of things instead of just relationships.
