Let them in

I always invite people in, they take control and take my heart for a spin.

I am never letting anybody in, anymore.

So, don't come knocking on my doors.

My door had a million ways to enter,

But they can make anywhere they're shelter.

I am not that person anymore.

So, don't come knocking on my doors.

They knew where I like to hide,

they knew about the little world that was never mine.

I don't feel safe anymore.

So, don't come knocking on my door.

I just wanted to call something my own, but all they did was strip me to the bone.

I never trust people anymore,

that's why now nobody's knocking on my door.
