"Hello?"
"Who is this?"
"Oh, this is.. this is Amaris. I'm just checking if you're okay," she stated softly through the phone.
"I'm fine."
I didn't feel like talking and I was weirded out when she called me. We never really spoke before. Hell, I didn't even look at her. Even Tyler didn't call to check on me but Amaris.
"Okay.."
There was a long pause. I was about to hang up but I know it was rude to do so, then I stayed on line, matching the wordless sentence from her mouth as we both said nothing.
"Do you wanna hang up?"
"Oh, yeah. Okay. See you later, at school."
Then the call ended.
I can't tell if Amaris was something, she was just not in my mind right now.
