You Can't Break A Broken Heart (Completed)

Broken Yet Whole...

(Crystal's POV)

I'm running with the others into the building.

My body's aching so much.

But I follow them anyways because it's for Gold.

I take out Gold's Pokemon and they follow us.

Silver's Feraligatr uses Hydro Pump on the fire that's blocking the doorway.

We run into the building.

The first thing we spot is Ariana.

She is cornering Gold with her Pokemon.

Gold's unconscious by the looks of it.

"DESTROY HIM!" Ariana yells.

Her Pokemon are about to attack Gold but our Pokemon quickly defend him.

I run up to Gold.

I kneel beside him.

He's still unconscious

"Gold," I say, "are you alright?!"

I'm shaking him awake.

He opens his eyes.

"GOLD!" I say as I hug him tightly.

But then he gets up and stares at Ariana.

(Gold's POV)

I feel the dark aura come back.

But something feels weird.

I look at everyone else and they're yelling.

Except... I can't hear them.

I'll worry about that later.

Then Ariana's Pokemon attack me once more. 

I fall to the floor.

(Gold POV)

Green has commanded Etaro to grab Ariana.

Ariana's Pokemon are about to attack but Green grabs the Pokeballs from Ariana and returns them.

I look up at them.

...

...

All I hear is silence.

Crystal pulls me up and drags me out of the burning building.

Pain is all over my body.

Ariana's Pokemon struck almost every part of it.

The police have arrived.

Officer Jenny asks us something but I can't hear it.

Then Blue is in front of me, saying something.

I mouth "I can't hear you!"

Then everything is once again... black.

(TIME SKIP)

I wake up in some room.

It's a hospital room.

I sit up.

I stretch my arms and then notice something on the left one.

Bandages!

Is my arm broken?

The doctor comes in.

He's saying something.

I think he asked if I can hear him.

I don't know.

Then Crystal comes running into the room.

She squeezes me tightly.

Crystal breaks the hug.

She's saying something to me.

How do my friends even understand me when I mouth something to them?

It's pretty difficult for me.

The doctor says something to Crystal.

When he's finished, tears run down Crystal's face.

She then leaves the room.

The doctor walks over to me and places something on my ears.

Then I suddenly hear everything.

"Can you hear me?" He asks.

I smile and nod.

"Can you explain everything that's wrong with me?" I mouth.

"You have... lost your hearing, swollen your left wrist, and you might have some back pains for a while."

"How long do I have to stay in here?" I mouth.

The doctor smiles. "You've been in here for 2 months. Well, you woke up sometimes and then fell right back to sleep. We needed to keep you in here just to test the hearing aids!"

"So I can leave now?" 

He nods.

I exit the room.

I'm smiling to myself.
