chapter 12: Return to the packhouse

As we pulled up to the packhouse I noticed several of the whores hanging around the front of the house. I heard Cash sigh. I can't take this anymore Sara. They have to stop. I don't want any of them. I have not slept with anyone but one since you left me.  We are back together and I don't want to lose you again.  If you really mean that Cash you won't lose me. Let's get the baby out of the car and go to our room. I looked at him and saw him smile.  He got out of the car and walked around and opened my door. As he helped me out he turned and opened the back door and lifted Teddy out of his car seat. He grabbed my hand and as we walked onto the porch and into the door we heard the whispers. 

They are back together. No, one said. It is fake. We will see another one said.  We walked up the stair and to the gate. I pushed in the code as Cash watched so he would remember it. As we walked down the hall and to Teddy's bedroom Cash said. I believe I am going to like being behind a locked gate.  As I opened Teddy's bedroom door he walked in and lay him in his bed and covered him with a blanket. As he turned and looked down at me I took his hand and pulled him down the hall to my room. As we walked in and shut the door I reached up and put my arms around his neck. I pulled him down toward me as he reached for me. He lifted me in his arms and carried me to the bed.  Cash made love to me for hours until we were exhausted and fell asleep in each other's arms. 

The next morning we got up and took a shower which took longer than usual but who was complaining. We left the room and looked in on Teddy before walking down the hall and out of the gate. As we walked down the hall to the stairs I felt a sharp pain in my back and lost my grip on Cash's hand and fell to the floor. I heard a loud growl and felt myself being lifted in strong arms and being carried to the hospital in the packhouse. I couldn't open my eyes but heard everything.  Alpha Cash you have to let her go so we can help her. No, You have to please. Lay her on her stomach on the bed. Then I heard my father in law telling Cash to go with him and let the doctor take care of me. 

Cash looked at his father and asked: "where is that bitch?"  In the cells. Make sure she stays there. We will deal with her once Sara is out of danger.  The packhouse was very quiet.  My mother walked toward me and said. Cash there are two princes downstairs demanding to see you.  They are angry and discussing tearing this pack apart if Sara doesn't make it through the surgery. They are her other mates. I walked down the stairs. Prince Adrian, Prince Alaric please come in I said.  Oh, my god they are handsome. They turned and looked at the sluts and said. We are also Luna Sara's mates. So don't even think we are interested in any of you.  We want to see Sara. She is in surgery right now. Who shot her? Rachel, a pack member who thought if Sara was not here I would make her my second chance mate. 

She must be punished. Do not worry. She will be. What she has done is a death sentence for her if Sara dies.  If Sara lives she will be made to suffer mark my words.  She will become an omega, she will cook, clean, and live in the servants quarters. She will also lose her privilege of driving and riding to school. And she will not eat at the family table. She will eat in the kitchen with the other omega's and she will not turn into her wolf for one year.  Prince Alaric said she also will be whipped and have whore burned onto her cheek. Done I said looking at him.  And what do you want to be done to her Prince Adrian?  He grinned and said I think that she should be made to serve the food to her friends and the family and I think that she should be made to admit to the packhouse members what she tried to do.
