Chapter 13: Rachel

I sat in the cell and knew that I messed up. The Alpha will kill me for this. For what I had done. I was not thinking. I should not have shot the Luna. I just wanted her out of the way. I wanted the Alpha to claim me as the new Luna. I also knew deep down that would never happen. The guard looked at me and grinned.  "What the hell are you grinning about I asked".  You finally are getting what you deserve.  You sluts are all the same. You think you can kill to get what you want. Even if you succeed in killing the Luna, he would never let you take her place.  

Sara is his life. The only woman he will truly love. He can and will never love another woman. She is his other half. The one the Moon Goddess made for him. That's what you slut's don't get. And your mate whoever he is, I feel sorry for him. If he learns about what you have done, which he will he just might reject you. Rejection is something you never want to happen to you. But it will. You do remember the other girl you bullied don't you Rachel?  I looked at Alpha Zander and said with tears running down my face.  This has to be a joke. No, it isn't a joke Rachel. My sister, my sister Peggy is Alpha Zanders's second chance mate I said with tears flowing down my face.

I wish that I had never done what I had. I wish I had never chased after Alpha Cash. Now I lost my mate. I could have been a Luna and never knew it because he covered his scent. I can't believe that my sister is my mates second chance mate. The Moon Goddess cannot be that cruel.  Now Peggy will be the one smirking, not me. She will have her revenge for every bad thing I did to her. I sat down on the cot and let the tears fall. I watched as the guard turned to walk away but before he did he turned and looked at me. You male and she-wolfs are finally getting what you all deserve.  I never understood why none of you could wait for your mate. You all think that you can have it your way and thow away the mate the Moon Goddess gives you. You all deserve what she has to dish out to you. I then watched as he walked down the hallway opening the door and closing it behind me.
