My heart skipped a beat when I heard him saying those words.

•KIHYUN'S POV•

Today was the day of the trip.

Yesterday Hyerin and me agreed to meet up in the morning and walk to the bus station where we would leave afterwards together.

The trip was a good opportunity for me to get closer to her.

I wasn't allowed to forget why I have started this whole thing with Hyerin in the first place.

Right. It was to make him suffer and the best way I could see him suffer was to hurt someone he loved and cared about.

And that someone was Hyerin.

I know that she does not deserve this but honestly I should not even care about that. Any feelings will only destroy my plan and revenge.

"Good morning!" I heard her voice ringing in my ears while standing outside waiting for her while smoking a cigarette.

"Morning." I simply replied.

"You're smoking again?" she asked.

"Yeah, why not?" I asked while looking at her.

"I am worried about your health. That's all. I didn't mean to annoy you with my question." she said.

"Why does she even care about my health in the first place? It's not like I am someone important for her." I thought to myself.

"I started smoking some years ago and I don't think I will be able to stop that soon." I said.

"Anyways I really hope that you will be able to take more care of yourself from now on. Otherwise people who love you will worry about you." she added.

"And those poeple.. are you one of them?" I asked.

"Excuse me?" she asked turning red like a tomato turning away her head.

"Ya! Don't worry. I was just kidding." I said while laughing a bit.

But a feeling of sadness crossed my mind when I said that.

"Who even was able to love a person like me?" I thought to myself but shook off that thought immediately since I didn't like thinking about that.

"Let's go?" I asked.

"Sure. Let's hurry up so that we won't be late." she answered and we made our way to the train station.

Arriving there we saw a lot of classmates already waiting for the bus. All of them were having conversations while laughing and joking around.

"Good morning class!" the teacher greeted us.

"Good morning!" everyone said in unison.

"Are you all excited?" he asked.

"Yes!" everyone seemed even more excited than yesterday.

A few minutes later the bus arrived and it was time to go inside and choose a seat.

"Ladies first." I heard a dude saying to Hyerin when she was about to go into the bus.

It was him. That jerk I saw in the cafetaria together with Hyerin a few weeks ago.
