the next few days were brutal...

ethan has been avoiding me at school, home, texts, and calls. its starting to worry me

if this is about jack, he has nothing to worry about... i already explained to jack that i didn't have have feelings and that we could go to homecoming as friends. he understands my feelings for ethan so he said he would back off.

since ethan has been avoiding me i no longer can use the excuse that i'm hanging out with him to get out of going to parties

there is a party tonight i'm getting ready for, that alicia is dragging me to. i'm getting the last touches to my hair and makeup and my outfit before leaving (picture above)

i hope ethan is there so i can talk to him...

at the party ethans pov

grayson is dragging me to this party tonight because he says that ken will be there. i've been avoiding her as much as i can even though it hurts not talking to her... i can see the hurt in her eyes every time i ignore her at shcool

~flashback~

we have 3rd period together and she came in crying. that right there just broke me. istg if that douche bag jack did that, i'll kill him. i decide to text her and make sure she is okay.

E- hey you okay?

K- "hey you okay" really?!

E- yeah really ken, i'm worried. why were you crying?

K- you didn't seem worried all the times you ignored me ethan. and fyi i'm crying because of you! because my bestfriend is ignoring me and it's killing me.

E- i-

K- save it... just go back to hating me for whatever reason... i didn't do anything just, give me space please

E- i don't hate you ken... i'm upset because you said yes to jack for homecoming...

K- i already told jack that i had feelings for someone else and that we would go to the dance as friends E...

E- please don't hate me...

K- i don't

after that we stopped talking and honestly i'm scared to even approach her... i'm as ready as i'll ever be for this party sadly...
