You're Y/N L/N, a great student with average grades at DUAT College. Four years ago? A police officer. But your insecurities got you kicked out. Your godfather, Hank Anderson, knows why. And so do you, but you have your own perspective...
"Jericho is a place for people like us. We just want to live in peace!" Said Eric. "Just..please.. leave us alone!"
"I know, I know! But I can't let you guys go without any information!" You reasoned. "Look, w-we're not like the others. I'm sorry if we tried to shoot you, but like my partner said, we had no choice! Why can't you trust us?"
"We'll end up like the others. I just know that." He said. "How can you prove to us that you're not like others?"
You sighed. "I know that you're both just doing this to love each other in peace. You clearly need each other! And I understand that, that's why we're not gonna do you any harm. All we need is for you to give us Jericho's location."
"Why do you want so much to know where Jericho is?" Laura questioned.
"Detroit's future may be compromised if we don't find that place." Connor said. "You can see that we are clearly not a threat, why back off?"
"Have you... Have you ever been in love?" Eric asked Connor.
Connor glanced at you for a brief second. "No."
"Then you don't know how scary the possibility of losing someone important." They both stepped backwards again. That really scared you. One more move and they'll fall.
"I do!" You said. "I do..."
"Really?" Laura puzzled.
You looked over your shoulder. Connor was right there. "...Yes. That's one of the reasons I'm here... Listen, we all have somethin' to lose... Don't act like it's the end of the world... We're all scared. Don't you get it? This is a war!"
"But we don't want to be killed by you." Said Laura.
"Neither do we." You said. "If we give ourselves a chance, we can do the right thing... None of us asked for this revolution... And we don't want to stay in the middle of it... Do we?"
They stayed silent for a moment. "No... We don't." Eric and Laura held each other's hands tightly, their LEDs flicked yellow, connecting their minds one last time. They looked at each other with hope in their eyes, and took one last step before throwing themselves from the building.
"I love you."
"I love you, too."
"NO!"
You tried to reached them but it was too late. Their bodies were laying on the ground together, with blue blood splashed around them. You rested your hands on that edge, completely incredulous and more frustrated than before. It's over. You have failed your mission. And that means Connor is going back to CyberLife for good.
"No... No, no, no!" You raged. "GOD-FUCKING-DAMMIT!"
A couple of minutes later the university was surrounded by police cars. They came really fast. The two of you were still on the rooftop, quiet. You were warming yourself up with Connor's jacket, the snow was still falling and covering the floor with it's white color. In the silence you just couldn't stop thinking about the kiss. It was something you didn't have time to think about, but now you do. And the only thing that came up to your mind was "why?".
"That was really unfortunate..." Connor said with some disappointment in his voice. "For a moment I thought we could make it.."
"Why was that for?" You grumbled.
The android furrowed his brows. "What are you talking about, exactly?"
"You know what I'm talking about." You said. "That kiss. Why did you do that?"
"Oh."
"Have you lost your fucking mind?!" You barked.
"You said it was normal... I thought that would ease your nervousness." He apologized. "I'm sorry if that made you upset."
"Oh, so you thought it would be okay if you kissed me out of nowhere?" You argued. "Didn't you even think about how I'd feel after that?!"
"Statistics say that a kiss can reduce a person's stress level considerably."
"Fuck your statistics!" You said, then took a deep breath. "How did..How did you feel when you kissed me?"
At that moment, it was as if you had forgotten that Connor was not human. It's like something blinds you from who he is by painting something different. But right now... You could only see a cold, plastic android talking. "I felt... nothing."

"And did you even think about what could change between us after that?"
"I don't think there's anything between us that could possibly change."
"So.. this means nothing to you?" You gestured the space between you and him, hinting your relationship with him.
"I'm sorry, (Y/N), but where are you trying to get at?" He reasoned. "I'm trying to understand why you're like that... but it is very difficult to decipher the human mind."
You scoffed. "Of course you wouldn't understand... You're just a fuckin' machine!"
In Connor's point of view, he just couldn't understand what happened to make you so angry. He just doesn't know what's going on in your heart. And he just sees it in an obvious robotic way. "I'm just an android, (Y/N). And all I can do is follow instructions in my program. I'm sorry if you got confused by this situation."
Those words were the last straw for you. Your lips trembled. An avalanche of mixed feelings have invaded you. You felt a tear stream down your face. You couldn't help but cry your lungs out.

And those words somehow affected something in Connor's program.

The android statically watched you pick up your shoes and toss his jacket on the floor, then dash away from him. He can't just let you go like that, so he followed you.
"(Y/N), wait!"
Obviously you didn't listen to him. You just wanted to go home and hide yourself from everything.
Hank was waiting with his car in front of DUAT. Then he saw you rush out of there all of the sudden, and Connor was right behind you.
"Hey..."
"(Y/N), please, hear me out--"
"DON'T TALK TO ME EVER AGAIN!"
Your godfather watched you run down the street and get into the first taxi that appeared. Connor stopped, and watched you leave. He was confused, and puzzled. Hank's expression went from stunned to serious in a matter of seconds. He has never seen you act this way before.
The old man approached his android partner. "Connor... What did you do?"
"I... I don't know."
