Evelyn's POV
It was about 7:00am on a Friday meaning one of my days off when I heard my phone alarm goes off, 'Darn it I forgot to turn off the stupid alarm' I thought, so I moved to trun off the stupid alarm. So I heard a small thud coming off my roommate's Ava's bedroom, most likely from her falling off her bed or something.
"Well I'm already up, might as well get ready and make some breakfast for us" I said sitting up from my bed and walking over to my walk-in closet and changed from my oversized blue jumper and black sleep shorts into my normal lilac long sleeved crop top with a white lace trim on the bottom, black under shirt, denim skirt with my black belt, black leggings and my favourite pair of dark blue converse, then brushed my long dyed periwinkle hair before tying it back into my normal high ponytail and grabbed my lilac choker with a pearly heart charm.
After changing I walked out of my room to see Ava standing by the large floor to ceiling widow our apartment has on the phone, talking with someone 'probably Lorelai again' I thought. I walked over to the kitchen to see if we had any food left for breakfast, to which we didn't, meaning I have to go food shopping for us.
Will I was figuring out what we needed (which was nearly everything) Ava rushed back out of her room, dressed in her normal outfit which consists of a light pink sweatshirt with short sleeves with shoulder cuts and black shorts with long black and pink striped socks and pink and white shoes, closing her doors behinds her 'That's right she's got a job interview today so she can help me in paying bills' I thought before I heard her door open and her running out of the apartment. I remembered it was trash day so I grabbed the trash bag and began to walk to the front door when Ava came running back only to see me holding the trash.
"Forgot something?" I asked jokingly,
"Yeah sorry" she said sketching the back of her head,
"Come on girl, I'll come with you" I said starting to walk out the door,
"What really?" she said following after me locking the door behind her, walking past Jake our landlord and a kinda friend of mine,
"Yeah, sides we need food so I can do some shopping while you do your interview" I told her walking down the three flights of stairs with her behind me,
Short Time Skip
Once we walked out the front door of the apartment complex we walked around to the back alley where the two big garbage bins are when I see five guys in demon cosplay, 'Oh yeah I forgot there was an anime convention happening this weekend' I thought before throwing the bag into the trash.
"You guys okay" I said while me and Ava turned around to face them to see four of them standing with what looks like weapons and the other one is past out,
"Ahh, you guys got like diarrhea or something? I-" Ava asked before gasped looking over at the guy with white/ivory coloured horns passed out,
"Oh my god, are you alright?" she yells as we ran over to him, I check to see if the guy was breathing which he wasn't,
"Shot, your friend isn't breathing" I called back to them, "Intimidate it" I heard one of them say,
"Hello, are you guys going to do nothing here?!" Ava asked as them just stood there looking like statues, she moved me out of the way, kneeled down next to the guy and starting to do CPR, I heard the other guys gasp/ yells something or other tho I was more worried about the guy passed out of the floor who was who know NOT BREATHING!!,
"We need to act!" the blonde?, white haired guy with green horns yells,
''Peirce!" one of the other guys said before the guy with dark/light blue horn (Peirce I think) walked over to Ava and me, he picked both of us up by our shirts, turning us around so we were facing him,
