"Excursion"
NARRATOR
Previously on Fear the Walking Dead..
(A summary of all the events leading up to the ending of Season 3 where Madison looks up to find a girl as she is stranded on the beach.)
EXT. BEACH - DAY
The shades of yellow shine on MADISON, covered in water, as she walks in desperation.
Sun shines through her eyes, as she marches to the edge of nowhere. Numb, she sees two silhouettes in the distance as they stand on a hill.
Her walking begins to accelerate to racing as she, optimistic, marches to what may be her family. The silhouettes get closer and closer, she faces a realization: it is not her family, but two familiar faces.
MADISON
(out of breath from running)
Taqa? Crazy Dog?
QALETAQA
(neutral)
Hello, Madison.
QALETAQA
Pleasure to see you again.
< INTRO >
EXT. OCEAN - DAY
ALICIA is seen hanging on to a piece of wood, surrounded by the wondrous deep blue sea. She puddles to shore, looks right and left for any sign of a loved one.
EXT. LIGHTHOUSE - DAY
The rumbling of walkers is heard in the far distance behind her, she looks back and finds a dozen walkers slowly marching to her. Fearlessly, she walks normally and shows no sign of rush and motivation to get away from the walkers. Slowly, she walks up the hills to find a lighthouse. Looking back, she realizes that the undead is getting closer. She finds the door jammed.
ALICIA
(in frustration)
Shit.
In desperation, she climbs up the walls of the lighthouse to the nearest window. She punches the window for it to crack open, and crawls in the hole.
She takes a deep breath, and searches for a weapon. Standing on the staircase, she looks upwards at a shadow.
ALICIA
(fearful)
Hello?
She hears the shadow chuckle, and realizes who this is. In fury, she marches upstairs weaponless. Reaching the top level, she sees a man with long, graying hair sitting on top of the light fixture. ALICIA walks silently behind him.
PROCTOR JOHN
(smiles)
Hello, Alicia.
ALICIA
Thought you died.
PROCTOR JOHN
Have you come attempt to end me?
ALICIA
(bold)
No, but that can be arranged.
EXT. STREETS - EVENING
MADISON, QALETAQA and CRAZY DOG walk through the streets, covered in guts of any inevitable herds they may face. Although, no walkers are heard for miles, a female screams in the distance.
MADISON
(desperate)
Alicia?
QALETAQA
(confused)
Madison?
