7th: Reality

12:50pm, Chloe Beale: Jesse! Where are you?!

12:51pm, Me: Eating lunch outside with the boyssss

12:52pm, Chloe Beale: Okay, where?!

12:52pm, Me: no! Stay where you are.

Meanwhile.

Chloe and Aubrey were in the cafeteria eating lunch with Aubrey, Amy, and Stacie. New girl, Jessica.

Chloe scoffed at Jesse's reply. Putting her phone down and holding her hands together onto her chin, thinking in deep.

Aubrey noticed, the way Chloe basically smashed her phone on the table. "You okay?" Aubrey says taking a sip of her juice

"Yeah, where's jesse?" She turned to face Aubrey

Aubrey shrugged, finishing her juice and putting it down to her tray "i dont know and i dont care"

"I thought he was coming to eat with us"

"He also has friends you know. And besides its better to just let him be"

Chloe sighed, grabbing her apple and taking a huge bite, squinting her eyes, thinking in deeply. Once again

Amy finished her lunch, looking around everyones tray, until she caught chloes. "Hey chloe, are you gonna eat that?" She points to the pudding sitting on her tray.

"Nope" popping the "p" She tossed the pudding to Amy, earning a huge grin and thank you from the Blonde.

"So, Jessica, whats your deal?" Stacie says holding her hands together on the table.

"What do you mean?" Jessica answers taking a spoonful of spaghetti onto her mouth

Stacie shrugged "mm i dont know you seem off"

"Off?" Jessica questions, her eyebrows quircked at the confusion of Stacies words

"Yeah. Off" Stacie stares at Jessica longer than anyone expects.

"Um, stace, can you like stop that" Aubrey chuckles nervously looking over at stacie staring at Jessica.

"Yeah, ever since Jessica joined us you seem to like bother her or something" chloe adds listening to the conversation going on

Stacie shrugs and humming "she seems.." looks back at Jessica "distant"

"Distant?" Amy barges in eating a cup of pudding

"Yeah. Idk really" while stacie was 'judging' Jessica, Jesse walks in from the cafeteria

Chloe stands up and runs to him hitting his arm playfully "where the hell were you?"

"-oh" he stutters "with the boys.

"Mm" she smirks at him, after Aubrey said no to going out with Jesse in the beginning of 6th grade, he was too anguished for finding a girlfriend.

"Its true" he shrugged walking away from chloe and sitting on the table with the rest of the group

Meanwhile

Beca and Emily were walking around, passing time. Leaving only 5 minutes for class.

"So.." Emily broke the silent. Eating a bag of chips she bought from the vending machine

Beca hummed in response.
"Who was that jesse guy?" She nudged becas shoulder. Knowing that beca and jesse had chemistry

"What?" Beca asked confusingly.

"Yeah Jesse, was he your boyfriend before finding out you were gay?" Emily faced Beca while eating a bag of chips

Beca snatched emilys chips grabbing a handful before giving it back to emily. Leaving emily looking right at the bag, checking if she has anymore left. Beca chuckled at the view before continuing to walk "we were bestfriends all the way to 5th. I stopped being friends with him in 6th, anyone really" beca shrugged

"Oh." Emily was curious on to why Beca was or stopped everyone from coming to her life. But she knows Beca doesnt like talking about it. So she won't pressure her.

"After my mom left us i was upset,devastated, i was crying everyday for her. I missed her. I loved her. Imagine waking up everyday and not seeing your mom in the kitchen. I was only what 8? And in 3rd grade. I was a kid for godsake." She tried to hide the pain, She tried to make herself not cry. "Then in 5th grade she came back i trusted her. She came back. And you know for what?" Emily nodded "to divorce my dad, she took half the money, she didnt even say goodbye, she left" beca sighed "anyways im gonna head to class. I'll see you for seventh period" before leaving she put her headphones over her head. Leaving Emily stunned a what Beca said.

Suprised that she opened up to her.
Something REALLY REALLY meaningful to Beca.
Knowing that Beca told her, her biggest and most tragest story and well known only for her. Emily knows that Beca's secret is safe with her and theres no way in hell she'll bestray her like that, and expose her secrets.
