7th: Reality

Beca was walking to lunch and stood in the middle of the cafeteria trying to find Emily. She went over to the line to grab her lunch. Not until she saw Emily walk in, Beca motiones her to come, with her hands, and quickly emily saw her and went to join her in the line. Soon they got their lunch and walked out. Beca looked around for Jesse

"Who are you looking for?" Emily said, taking a frenchfrie and popping it into her mouth

"Huh," she scans through the crowd of teenagers and her eyes lighted up once she landed eyes on a certain teen

"There" beca pointed to where she was looking

"There..? Who?" While beca was walking to Jesse, Emily was behind popping questions, of who curiously she was looking for. Emily knows that Beca only talks to her. And is curious, of who else she might be friends with

The pair got to the group of boys.

"Hey guys" beca waves greetly while Emily catches up to her

"Damn beca never knew how much of a speed walker you were" Emily tried to catch her breath and holding her lunch steadily without provoking it from falling

"Hey Beca, how come you suddenly decided to what talk to me after almost 4 years?" Jesse turned around to face the pair

Beca chuckles to herself "no jesse, i just saw how 'desperate' you were trying to catch my attention" Beca made sure to add air quotations between the world "desperate"

"No. I was not 'Desperate' from being friends with you again" Jesse did the same thing with the word "desperate"

"Well.. i miss you" Beca frowned a little and shrugged at the actions of her.. well ex bestfriend?

Jesse sighed heavily before answering back to the brunitee "i missed you too becs" Jesse went for a hug but was stopped, pulling away confusingly

"Uh.. i cant really.." Beca pointed to her lunch tray "and dont call me becs"

Jesse laughed "ok"

Beca was about to say something else but was stopped when she heard someone clearing their throat
She turned to face Emily smiling widely at Beca then back to Jesse

"Oh, Jesse this is emily" she pointed to Emily "Emily, Jesse" she pointed to Jesse

"Hi, nice to meet you" she pulled her hand out for a shake

Jesse gladly took and smiled "likewise". He quickly turned around where a group of 3 boys were talking to eachother intensively fighting over a pokemon card "rare" i should say.

He tried to catch their attention. "Guys" he moved his head to the direction where Beca and Emily were at.
The boys stood beside Jesse straighten out their posture

"Well.. Beca you know Benji and Bumper" Beca nodded "Well, Emily this is Benji and Bumper" he pointed towards Benji and Bumper. "Donald as well" he pointed to Donald. Benji stared at Emily in a non-creepy way

"Hi.. im benji" he spoke out nervously

"Emily" Emily chuckled at the actions

"Anywayyssss" Beca continued, "where should we sit?" Beca turned back to Jesse

"We usually eat with Chloe and Aubrey surprisingly" Jesse shrugged

Beca suddenly felt the urge to run away. She couldn't face Chloe nor Aubrey. She just fuilt guilty. "Oh. Well Emily and i eat next to the student lounge" Beca shrugs

"Alrightt then we'll be on your way" Jesse adds grabbing his backpack from the floor and gesturing to the boys to do the same and follow the pair.

The 6 students were talking about random stuff. Jesse and Beca talking about the miss times, and missing the old times. When suddenly Jesses phone buzzed, meaning he recieved a message. He took it out from his pocket and opened it.
