I twirl around in my living room to the beat of the harmonic music booming through my speakers, with a bourbon in one hand and a girl in the other. Her body presses against mine, our curves perfectly matched for one another, as we move in sync.
After Issac had released me from my prolonged boring torment, I had gone to the first place I could think of; the club I have been sneaking off to every night. However, to my disappointment, a power outage that had hit our town canceled my alluring plans. Not wanting to miss an opportunity to indulge myself on such a glorious night, I decided to create a party of my own. So, I opted on bringing along a few disappointed strangers who were in the mood for a rave. All I needed was a generator and our party struck to life.
I take a swig of the almost empty brown liquid in the clear bottle and enjoy the burn it creates as it travels down my throat. A sigh releases from me and I extend my hand out to the other two who felt enticed to dance tonight as well. The tall, muscular man wraps his large veiny hand around the glass and immediately downs the alcohol himself. The girl who can't keep her hands off him giggles, obviously drunk from only one bottle. The other two on the couch, well, they have alcohol in their system, but their thoughts are not to dance.
I bring my attention back to the petite girl in front of me, a large smile spread across her face to show her shining, bright white teeth. Sneaking closer to the brunette's neck, I sink my fangs into her, creating another fresh gash to match the other bite marks that dot her tanned skin. Her breath goes heavy, but she stays quiet, just as I compelled her to do.
No one must be home considering I've been blasting music for a good two hours and have not received a knock on my door once. Isaac and Allison are probably at school and Chris out searching for answers to last night's events. Which gives me the day to myself to reenergize and seek revenge in good time. For now, I'm indulging myself in a very delicious unlimited supply of blood. I haven't done this in ages and damn did I miss the exhilarating feeling it brought to have a few humans over to dance and drink the night away. A night that I control in the comfort of my own home.
That was until I received a message sent to half the town about a blacklight rave happening in Derek's loft soon. I stare down at the message, a smirk upon my face. I can not pass up the opportunity to present myself in front of Scott's pack. Isaac had said that no one knew where he was when he came to release me. Then they also wouldn't know that I'm roaming around town vervain-free because of him. As exhilarating as my party has been, it's time to kill it and move on to the next.
Swiftly showering off the blood, I change into a white lose crop top with a neon blue bralette underneath, black shorts, and white converses. I pull my hair back into a messy bun, only placing a few bobby pins to keep it from coming undone. Checking over myself in the mirror one last time, I grab my phone and keys and walk out the door, careful not to step on any blood that pools the majority of the floor. Wouldn't want to track that around the hallways or ruin my vibrant, white shoes. I can tidy up my mess later. Or compel someone else to take care of the dead bodies littering the living room floor.
Locking the door behind me, I make my way to the elevator, prepared for my unexpected appearance at Derek's loft.

Flashing lights illuminate the dance floor filled with teenagers from the high school and other strangers I haven't encountered. The air is heavy as our bodies dance against one another, not leaving much space to swarm through the throng. Those opposing to dance either occupy their time at the beverage area, have their bodies being painted in fluorescent paint, or already are taking their victim of the night to a bedroom. I had bypassed all of that as soon as I made it to Derek's loft, though. I had forced my way through the crowd and placed myself in the direct middle of all the fun. Bodies move around to the blasting bass of the DJ's stereos that shakes the core of the building.
