Perched on the windowsill sits the queen. Slowly and surely she stabs herself in the finger with a needle, and lets 3 drops of blood fall on the snow below. To have a child, she sells her soul to a demon.
Snow White was born with snow white hair. Her skin is charcoal black and her mouth is red as blood. Yet, you could say she's beautiful. Frightening, yes, but beautiful. Her mother passed giving birth, and her father unknowingly marries the demon to which her soul belongs. The demon queen is cruel, and she soon kills her husband. The old queen's soul is trapped in a mirror, and her husband's soul soon joins her.
Snow White grows powerful. Why wouldn't she? She's not human, after all. And neither are the new queen's servants. Demons and spirits all under her hand. And yet, when the old hunter guides the princess in the forest and offers her a chance at life, he goes against the queen's orders. "Run," he says. "She'll kill you and eat your heart, for you're becoming a threat to her." For that, his life is ended.
The princess runs deeper into the forest than any human ever did. And so, she meets 7 ancient spirits, who all broke free from under the queen's hand. The stones they mine from deep beneath the earth offers them strength. And yet, Snow White is foolish. She cannot say no to the old woman who turns up at her porch one day. For the mirror wept as it told the queen about the princess' hideout. It knew that just might be the end of her.
Snow White is paralysed in shock as the woman shoves the apple in her mouth. And the deed is done. And the mirror weeps louder, with the voice of parents who lost the one living thing they still had. "A crystal casket will preserve her for millennia." say the ancient spirits as they prepare to bury the one they loved like a daughter.
But the fairies of the forest will not stand for that. They know about the queen. They know about the kingdom. And they are so, so angry.
They breathe the life of the forest into Snow White. And so, she leads them into battle against the queen's forces. Yet, she still has one thing to do. She tries to sneak into the castle. She wants the mirror.
But the queen finds her. And so, two inhuman forces battle eachother. Their goal? The death of the other.
But the princess wins. And as she pushes the queen into the roaring flames that erupted in the castle's yard, she feels at peace. And the kingdom feels so too. For the princess is now a queen herself, and she will be fit for the role of ensuring their safety.
Perched on the windowsill sits the new queen. With her kingdom beneath her, the deed is done. And the rest of her life is in front of her.
