Flaw in My Code (Portal 2)[REWRITE IN PROGRESS]

[Chapter 4: Human Vault]

"Congratulations on completing the standard section of this course. Before we can go any further, I will need you to complete one more test outside of the standard testing track..." As GLaDOS spoke, the bots jumped for joy and high-fived each other, cheering. "...please refrain from doing those childish gestures while you are out there."

They proceeded into the pods and were transferred somewhere behind the scenes once more through another set of long tubes. "We need to find the power station at the end of this course." She said. "The humans must have accidentally disconnected it from my grid." She said accidentally, though she knew that they had done it on purpose. It was smart of them, sure, but she did not very much appreciate it. "I am sure it was just a... Clerical error. Oh, those clerks..."

Orange and Blue snuck their way past turrets, using the hard light bridges and funnels to get around as they searched for the power station. GLaDOS could have been pointing them in the right direction, but she was distraught by something, and was not paying full attention to them. 

It must have been an error in the system, or faulty wiring in the mainframe, but she swore that she could hear a voice in her head, whispering to her softly, throwing her off track. The only other time that it had happened, she was not connected to her mainframe. She thought that being connected would have prevented it, but it clearly did not. She could not make out anything that the voice was saying, no matter how hard she tried. 

While she was distracted, Orange and Blue maneuvered past rows of turrets and found themselves in a new office room. They saw a disk on the table and, instinctively, pressed it into the DVD player. GLaDOS looked up, alerted. "Ah- You did it! You powered on they system! I'm fully connected!"

As thousands of cameras came online, GLaDOS was forced to open more monitors up in her chamber. "I can see everything..." She hummed. The cooperative testing bots nodded victoriously and awaited their next commands.

"See? Nothing bad happened. Excellent." She spoke as the two bots spontaneously exploded, so that they could be reassembled elsewhere. 

GLaDOS dropped them back into the hub as the room began to shake gently. "Congratulations on completing the Aperture Science standard cooperative testing courses."

 The bot cheered, dancing around. "To celebrate, I have a surprise for you!" GLaDOS said, in an oddly suspicious tone. The whole hub seemed to slide along until a catwalk leading to a factory door pierced through one of the walls.  "An extra special bonus course that ends with us finding and freeing humans!" The bots blinked rapidly, confused.

"Thanks to you, I know where to find them. I removed their security and powered up their - uh - rescue door." GLaDOS said cheerily. "Now, we just need you to release the humans from their imprisonment. They'll probably throw you a party."

The bots seemed a little skeptical about the course, but shrugged it off and ran along, headed for the door, which they were only able to access by falling through a portal and onto a faith plate, and launching over to the catwalk. 

When they made it over, it was clear to them that this was not a normal course. They stepped onto their platforms, and were launched down a chute into old Aperture. They glanced around, curiously, inspecting their newer, but older-looking surroundings. 

"This final course is training to reach the human vault. So this actually has a purpose. Those other courses were fun, but let's be honest, I need human test subjects for it to be science." She sighed. Orange and Blue looked at each other sadly, as they knew they were going to be replaced, but they continued on, regardless.
