I open my eyes everything is black . I turn on the side lamp and I'm in a room . A black and purple room . I look on right to see a note and a gun . I picked up the note and it says

" welcome home mi amore ... A present for you , be safe and don't shoot my family again . I hope you enjoy your time here with us . Even though you are in danger I hope that you have a super chilled time with us. Hope u like my present ."

I smiled at the letter I picked up the gun and put it in the back of my pants and exit the room . I look on the door and this time it was engraved .

I begun walking down the stairs I reached the bottom of the stairs and wondered around the unfamiliar area .

I looked at the place it was beautiful .

I found a room with bottles of alcohol and a fire place . Multiple books and some pictures . This place is so amazing . I run my fingers along the books and alcohol . I heard a booming voice that sent shivers down my spine .

"My,my ,my look at this ." The voice said .

I grabbed the gun turned around and pointed it at a man . He was old .

He was around 50 ish
He was wearing an Armani suit and he spewed power.

"Put that down Marcella ." He said with a smile . I put the gun back in my pants and looked at him curiously . "My dear , you look just like Martha ." He said and it peeked my interest .

"You knew my mom." I asked

"Indeed darling , my name is Victor Rodriguez . And you have a lot to learn . Please take a seat so we can talk ."

He said and I sat down on one of the chairs . He took a seat infront of me .

"So I am going to speak and you will listen . After I am done you may ask questions ." He spoke and I nodded .

"Dear child I know you since you were a kid . Your parents Martha and Daniel stone . Perfect couple and my best friends , si . Martha and Daniel were in the mafia ." This man spoke and my mind went blank .

What the fuck .

Is he serious .

"Yes dear , they took you and your siblings away from here to keep you safe . They ended up being killed by the same man who is trying to kill you. The Russians. Now you see child . They are trying to kill you because you are the heir to their mafia. Your mother was the eldest child but she ran away with Daniel my second in command . They had a family and lived happy ever after however your uncle wants you dead to ensure his sons throne . Even if you don't want to be part of this life you are. You my child are an important person . You are important to me and my wife . You are our goddaughter. You are important to my son . You are my daughter's best friend . You are best friends with all my son's higher ups.you are my son's 2nd in commands sister ." He said and I sat in silence for a couple of minutes

I can't understand anything

I mean what's going on Vincent that bastard . "So Vincenzo is the leader now ." I question and Victor nods . "Everyone follows his lead " I ask again and he nods again . "So I'm part of the mafia" I ask again
