Cute date and a promise ring (Mel's Pov)

I wake up to knocking on the door. "Faith your turn." I tell her. "It's ben." She calls to me. I sit up and tell him to come in. "I need to get dressed so sit on the bed and don't peak." I tell him and go behind the privacy screen. I throw on a black tank top, and a black skirt with purple flowers, when I walk out from behind the screen ben smiles.

 "Alright rosie, we've got a long day planned." He tells me and faith tells us to behave as we leave. He takes me to tiana's restaurant for breakfast. Tiana and Naveen greet the both of us with huge smiles on their faces. When we're seated in a booth in the back corner for privacy we order our food. When the meal is over ben takes my right hand over the table and says, "Melrose adeline malora the second, you are my entire universe and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I want to marry you when the time is right but for right now, this-" He takes out a ring (Shown above) and slips it on my ring finger. "-is a promise ring, to show that I promise myself to you." "I love it, no one's ever done anything like this for me. I love you." I say and he kisses my palm. As we're leaving tiana and naveen take the parental roles and warn ben that if I'm hurt by him they'll serve him in their gumbo. He assures them he won't and we say our byes. 

He takes me to the fair next and it's the most fun I've had in a long time. He buys me a ring pop and pretends to propose with it. When I say yes the crowd cheers and we head to the rides. "Mmm, watermelon. Thanks love. I tell him with a smile as we get in line for the carousel. "No problem rosie." He replies and kisses me on the top of my head. 

After the fair ben takes me to the lake where we had our first date and we start swimming in our undergarments. When it gets dark the fireflies start to fly around and the stars come out. "Hey mel have you ever been skinny dipping?" Ben asks in a mischievous tone. "No." I answer, giving him a suspicious look. He whispers what it is in my ear and I slap him on the arm. "Benjamin Florean Beast! Where did you learn that?" I ask. "Ariel's son alex... He left nothing to the imagination." Ben answers with a shudder. "Anyway, I wanted to try it. Care to join me?" He adds with an eyebrow wiggle as he pulls off his boxers and tosses them on the shore. I blush and remove my bra and panties and put them beside ben's boxers. I turn around and find ben staring at me and blush red. I bashfully fry to cover myself with my hands and arms but ben swims over to me and takes my hands in his. 

"You're goddess like." He comments breathlessly. I smile bashfully at him and rise up on my tiptoes to kiss him. He deepens the kiss and wraps his arms around me, his hands coming to rest on my back. We're still decently spaced away from each other while we're kissing, but then ben pulls me in closer. We're flush against each other, it sets off tingles and flames within me as we're kissing. Ben's hands start to wander and I follow his lead. We make promises in the light of the moon and the fireflies, fill our bodies with everlasting love for each other, and right in that moment felt as one heart beating to a rhythm beautiful and strong. 

When we head back we get dressed under a lantern lit gazebo. I couldn't help but stare at ben as we dress. He smirks. "See something you like?" He asks and I nod with a blush as I pull my skirt back on. "All dressed rosie?" He asks. "Yes benji, love." I reply and he smirks wider. "Bet you wish I wasn't he teases. I get an idea and smirk. I saunter up to him, with my hips swinging. I lace my fingers through his hair and whisper, "Keep talking like that and you won't be for long." I pull back to see ben's face entirely red. I burst out laughing and he shakes his head exasperatedly and then pulls me into a hug and kisses me.

"No fair rosie, that's cheating." He whines when he pulls away. "Oh we were playing a game?" I question faking innocents. "I guess for cheating, I'll just have to do this." He says and then wraps his arms around my waist and starts to kiss my neck. He reaches my pulse point and starts to suck at it gently, eliciting an involuntary moan from me. He stops and I know I'll have a mark there in the morning. "You're lucky I love you." I scold and he nuzzles into my neck and squeezes me tight. "I'm very lucky you love me." He replies. "You're also lucky you're cute." I add and lift his head so I can kiss him on the nose.
