(Gold's POV)

I stopped near Viridian City.

My life changed in less than a day! 

I feel so... useless. I couldn't save her.

I decided I'm leaving.

Leaving to a different region where none of my present friends will be.

Well, Red and Green travel everywhere, but I think I can still avoid them.

I walked into Viridian City and sat down on a bench for while.

I hear a conversation that catches my ears. I don't see the people but I hear them.

"The kid wasn't in there." That voice sounds familiar.

"WHAT?" Another voice says, "Look, you were supposed to burn the house when he was in it!"

I gasped. Someone burned the house?

I decided to go into the direction of the voices. They were hidden behind some bushes.

I looked through them and saw the only people I fully despised.

The Team Rocket Executives.

But... their boss is Silver's father. Giovanni wouldn't KILL people. Well, maybe Lance and Pryce but whatever.

"We can't let Giovanni hear about this!" Ariana says.

"Oh," Petrel says in a sarcastic tone, "we didn't know that! We would tell Giovanni that we murdered someone!"

Anger rose in me.

"We have to get that Pokemon he has!" Proton says.

"Giovanni doesn't know that!" Archer says, "But it could be a surprise for him!"

I take out Manaphy out of its Pokeball.

I snapped my fingers. Manaphy is powering up its Water Pulse.

"Hey," Petrel says, "did you hear someth-"

Petrel gets hit and is then hit hard into a tree.

Me and Manaphy jump above the bushes.

Proton speaks, "It's you! Give us Manaphy!"

I feel an angry aura surrounding me.

"Uh," Ariana says, "was his mother in the house when you burned it, Proton?"

I look at Proton and he seems scared.

"S-sorry, kid!" He says.

That made me even angrier.

I snap fingers from both of my hands and Manaphy uses Psychic.

It lifts Proton high in the air and then drops him from the tall height.

Proton is unconscious.

"L-look," Archer says, "you have gone WAY too far."

That's when I just exploded and tackled into Archer.

I tackle him into the ground and he looks at me with fear.

"Koffing!" Petrel says, getting up, "Smokescreen now!"

Smoke appears and I can't see anything. When the smoke disappears, the Team Rocket Executives are gone.

I kneel beside Manaphy and pet it.

I feel the angry aura disappear.
