the rest of the nighttime was spent watching their mv's, random interviews, videos and listening to their songs and just talking about ateez in general

he had explained everything to me about how they debuted, pre-debut challenges, songs that they created, staying away from family, hardships, all his adventures with creating the music videos and meeting their fans aka atiny 

we both were placed sitting along the headboard of the bed with blankets around us, cuddled up next to each other as we were talking about how we both had been since the last time we saw each other

i don't know how we got into this position but it was really comfortable just cuddling while watching videos and conversating with each other

"enough about me," yunho said pausing the music video we were about to watch

"let's talk about you," he said looking my way

i smiled

"so when did you join the company," he said

"oh umm i joined when i was 15," i said nodding and tightening the blanket around the both of us

"that's a pretty young age," he said leaning his head back on the bed as i put my head on his shoulder

"ya," i said sighing

"you okay," he said a little concerned and leaned his head forward making eye contact with me

"oh umm ya i guess," i said quietly trying not to make eye contact with

"how about we watch the musi-"

"y/n" he quietly said holding by hand back from pressing the play button

he took both of his hands and held them with my nervous ones

"was everything fine while joining the company?" he said rubbing his thumb gently on my hand since he probably noticed them shaking a little bit

"just tell me the truth okay," he said softly lowering his head to face me

"it's just my d-dad didn't approve it i guess" i quietly said as my tears were threatening to fall

"he was really against it, like he absolutely hated idols and always wanted me to be something he'd like," i said giving up as tear eventually fell on to our interviewed hand

"he was always that you need to study and get into a good university or else i'll kick you out type of person and was overall really controlling with everything i did, but growing up i was always interested in singing and dancing," i said sighing

yunho probably noticed the situation since he switched the positions and now was hugging me by my waist and resting his head on mine

"i told him i wanted to be an idol and he strongly disapproved and threatened to do horrible things to me and my mom if she let me do these things," i explained 

yunho simply just nodded

"when i first joined the company, whenever i went to train i'd never tell my dad about training under a label and this continued for a long time since he was never really home anyway and gone for business trips," i said scuffing

"until one day he eventually found out since the company dropped me off at my house for a couple of days off and he outraged," i said closing my eyes remembering the horrible memories of that specific day

"he came home drunk and started to yell about how i'm a disgrace to our family or how he wished he didn't have me as his daughter," i said trying to be strong
