Life was not so quiet for Giorno Giovanna. But it was quiet enough for him to stay and read a book at home. He would get up every morning, do his hair, brush his teeth, take a shower, get dressed, and would make breakfast for himself. Not much of a big deal. Giorno drove for other people, taking them where they needed to get to go and dropped them off. Giorno was extremely tired today and couldn't even bring himself to do his hair. He just let it stay messy the way it was. Giorno didn't even take the time to change out of his nightwear and into he never real clothes. He had closed the blinds, blocking the sun from his view and the rest of the house (more and more like his father every day). Other than that, his day had been not eventful. A couple of phone calls, naps in the middle of the day, eating a salad, watching TV and more naps. He spent some time attempting to make his hair look decent but gave up on it altogether, not having the motivation to do so. The doorbell rang. Loud and clear. Giorno was in a dazed state, staring at the TV, he couldn't tell the doorbell was ringing or he just couldn't hear it. A couple of seconds later, three gunshots fired and hit the window. The pieces shattered across the floor, making Giorno jump as he swung the door open to reveal the gang.....minus the moody edge lord. Bruno instantly asked if Giorno was all right while Mista apologized for the bullets. Fugo, on the other hand, was staring at Giorno as he messy state. "You look horrible. Didn't get enough sleep I suppose?" Fugo seemed to be correct. Giorno had put his rollers back in but they were extremely messy in three buns. He seemed to not even bother with his ponytail. Small strings of golden hair sticking out from the messy braid. He had eye bags under his eyes and they were half-lidded, threatening to close. His posture as well; hunched over and weary. He was leaning on the doorway to support himself.
"I agree," Narancia chimed in. "What did ya do to yourself?! You're never like this!" Giorno only yawned in response and walked back into the house falling face flat into the couch grumbling. Mista, Fugo, Narancia, and Bruno followed closing the doors shut behind them. Not only Giorno was a mess but his house too. The kitchen was messy, shoes all up on the floor as misplaced, snack wrappers laying everywhere, and uncleaned dishes piled up in the sink. It was a mess.
"Oi- Giorno this is messier than my room. And that's a lot coming from me." Mista said as he replaced his revolver into his pants and leaned against the wall, observing. Giorno only let out a muffled 'I know' from the pillows on the couch. Fugo being Fugo took it upon himself to clean for Giorno, seeing as if it was the right thing to do at the current time. Bruno spent his time helping Fugo with the cleaning. Giorno mumbled thanks as he snapped out of another daze, threatening to fall asleep again.
"Yo! Mista!" Narancia smirked. Mista looked over to the boy and raised an eyebrow in response. "You gotta go wake up sleeping beauty over there." Narancia pointed a finger to Giorno who was still laying on the couch. Giorno didn't say anything against this or made any excuses as to why not...or he was just too tired to say anything at all. Mista sighed and glared at Narancia, poking Giorno multiple times on the shoulder. Giorno raised himself to face Mista, rubbing his tired eyes.
"M-ista...? What's....wrong?" Giorno said slowly and carefully, trying his best not to stumble over his words or fall asleep. His eyelashes fluttering before jerking his head back up and pinching himself to stay awake, pushing his thumb up against his forehead and rubbing in small circles as he softly groaned. Mista said nothing as his face got red. He stood up and walked over to the second corner of the room trying to calm down. Narancia from the other side of the room was laughing his head off, his feet kicked up in a lazy manner placing the palms of his hands on the back of his head.
"Ha-ha! I knew you were a coward! Probably like him too!" Mista turned around and gave Narancia another glare.
"Shut up. You like Fugo anyway!"
Fugo raised an eyebrow as he stopped leaning on the wall and put his hands into the holes on both sides of his thighs. "Nothing wrong with that-" he softly replied.
"You shut your trap too, we all know you like him back," Mista growled. Fugo's face turned beet red and he snapped his head to the side, refusing to look at anyone else in the room. Mista knew he was right and both statements he made were true. Mista knew things (yet can't stop shooting himself somehow) and observed. Fugo and Narancia were close and it showed. Bruno held a hand up and sighed. The room went quiet.
"For the love of Dio won't, you all just get along already and not make fun of each other?! It's like trying to teach a baby Shakespeare, god-damn."
"Scusi-" Giorno mumbled, lazily resting his elbow on the arm of the chair. "Thank you for *yawn* tidying up the place. I appreciate it..." Bruno and Fugo nodded in response.
"You're welcome. Anyways, it seems like someone needs to watch over and take care of Giorno or he's going to burn the house down trying to make cereal. Not to mention we all can't stay due to the job of watching and protecting the boss's daughter. And we all know well that we might be dead if we don't accomplish that and not to mention Abbacchio wouldn't take care of Trish if his life depended on it." Bruno crossed his arms over his chest. "So? Any volunteers?" Mista instantly raised his hand, the first to do so. "Mista put your hand down, you're not in preschool."
"Meh," Mista lowered his hand and set it down at his side. "I can watch over Giorno." Bruno nodded in approval of the other. "You should know what to do and I'll check up on you and Giorno tomorrow. Arrivederci." Bruno turned and motioned for the other to follow behind him. They waved goodbye to the two boys before leaving and getting back into the car. Giorno had already fallen asleep in front of the TV a long time ago, snoring softly. The remote had been driven into the pillows on the couch. Mista poked at Giorno once again, trying to get him to wake up. Giorno only stirred himself awake for a quick second before placing his head back down in between the couch pillows. Mista sighed and lifted Giorno over his shoulder (Like Jotaro did with Kakyoin in part 3) and carried him up the stairs.
"If you're going to sleep at least sleep somewhere comfortable..." Mista set Giorno down lightly onto his bed, sitting down next to Gio who closed his eyes again. Mista smiled and fell asleep.
