We head to the kitchen and start unpacking the ingredients.
"Bebe, you can go lay down." I tell her.
She shakes her head.
"There is no way I'm letting you cook alone."
"Hey! I got this!" I laugh.
"Okay then, what do you do first?" She asked.
I look down.
"Uh."
I start to blush in embarrassment.
She smirked.
"You don't know, do you?"
I look up and shake my head.
"Well what do you have?" She asked me.
I started to list everything that we got from the store.
"Okay, you cut the carrots, I'll boil the water."
She started to put water in a big pot.
"Uh bebe?"
"Hm?"
"H-How do you do that?" I ask her.
She laughed.
She grabbed a sharp knife and handed it to me.
"Be careful." She says.
I take a deep breath.
"What the hell..."
"I can't do it bebe!" I carefully put the knife down and came over to her.
She placed the pot on the stove.
"Do you want me to do it?"she asks.
I nod.
"But I wanna do something!" I whine.
She stays still for a second.
"Your Supposed to be resting." I put my hands on her shoulders.
"Jaden, I feel fine." She smiled.
"But-"
"I promise." She said.
I let out a breath.
"Fine." I kiss her forehead.
"At least lay down! Please!" I beg.
"Well what about you?" She asks.
"I'll ask Chase or somebody." I shrug.
"Go upstairs." I laugh.
"I love you."
"I love you too." I said.
She ran upstairs.
"Chase?!" I walk out the kitchen, everybody's sitting in the couch.
"Okay somebody help me." I say.
"With what?" Anthony asks.
"Help me, make this soup for Lexie!" I sit down next to Tayler.
"I wanna help!" Tayler said.
"At least somebody will." I say.
"I'll help too." Avani said.
We all go into the kitchen.
"Jaden what are you doing?" Avani asked.
"Well I'm supposed to be cutting carrots." I say.
Tayler laughs.
"He doesn't know how to cut Carrots!"
"It's not that I don't know how, chopping things is easy it's just..." I stay silent.
Tayler keeps laughing.
I cross my arms.
"Whatever Tayler."
"Tayler help Jaden." Avani says.
He rolls his eyes.
"Why me?" He asked.
"Because clearly Jaden doesn't know what he's doing, and I have to finish boiling the water." She explained.
Fine, Jaden grab a knife." Tayler said.
"Wait-" I say grabbing a knife carefully.
"Just leave it to me." He said.
He slowly took the knife and started to cut the carrots.
"I'm going to check on Lexie." I say walking out the kitchen.
"You go do that." Avani says.
I run upstairs and knock on the door.
Lexie hurry's and opens the door.
"Hi bebe." I say.
"Hi!" She quickly hugs me.
"How's it going down there?" She asks.
I stay silent.
"It's, going." I say.
She laughed.
"I wanna go outside." She says.
"It's like 6:00pm." I say.
"But I wanna go outside." She held my hand.
She started to make puppy dog eyes.
"Ah shit." I cover my eyes.
"Tayler?! Bryce?!" I yell.
Bryce's POV
"Oh shit, I know that scream." I say putting my phone down.
"It's just Jaden being a baby." Anthony said.
"From what?" Griffin asks.
"Whenever Lexie wants something from him she makes little puppy dog eyes and he goes completely nuts." Anthony Explained.
"Tayler! Jaden needs us!" I yell.
"Coming!!" He ran out the kitchen.
We run up the stairs and open the door.
Jadens POV
"EVERYTHINGS GONNA BE OKAY!" Bryce yells.
"Bryce she's doing it again!" I yell.
I slowly move my hands away, Lexie's still standing in front of me.
I quickly put my hands over my face again.
"Lexie? What do you want from Jaden?" Tayler asked him.
"I just want to go outside!" She says.
"Is that all?"
She nods.
"Okay Jaden your panicking for no reason." Bryce says.
"But look at her!" I say lifting my hands off my face.
She still had the same look on her face.
"Why do you have to do this to me!" I shake her.
She doesn't say a thing.
"Jaden...your gonna have to learn to say no." Tayler explained.
"How am I supposed to say no to her..." I say still covering my face.
"You just have to say it." Bryce said.
I take a deep breath.
"Bebe?" I say taking my hands off my face.
She's standing in front of me, still making the face.
"Do it!" Bryce yelled.
"Okay okay!"
I put my hands on her shoulders.
"God damnit." I say looking away.
"Your such a baby!" Bryce yelled.
"IM TRYING!" I yell back at him.
I turn back to Lexie.
"Yes."
"Yay!" She jumps in my arms, and kisses my cheek.
Then she runs downstairs.
"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!" Bryce yelled.
"I CAN'T SAY NO TO HER!" I yell back.
"What the fuck." Tayler said.
"Wait where is she going?" Bryce asked.
I rush downstairs.
"Bebe?"
"Where'd she go?" I ask.
Anthony pointed to the backyard.
I run outside.
"Bebe?"
I look around.
After a few seconds I see her sitting in the grass, looking at the sky.
I sit down next to her.
"What are you looking at?" I ask her.
She takes a breath.
"The stars."
"Is that why you wanted to come out here?" I ask.
She nods and puts her head on my shoulder.
"I use to look at the stars with my mom...before she died."
I look down.
"I'm sorry.."
"It's okay, it was her time to go." She said.
I sigh.
"Do you wanna go inside and have your soup?" I ask her.
"Oh, I totally forgot about that." She laughed.
I smile and help her up, then we head inside.
"Just in time." Avani said passing Lexie a bowl.
"Thanks Avani." She says.
"Just saying I did everything" Avani said.
I laugh.
She quickly finish's it.
"Damn, why are you eating so fast?" I ask her.
She shrugged.
"I've waited for this soup since this morning." She said.
"Oh yeah." I look down.
Then my phone starts to vibrate, I take it out of my pocket, to see Madi calling me.
"I'll be back." I say going upstairs.
I quickly and answer it.
"Hey what's up?" I say.
I can hear her crying.
"Madi what's going on?" I ask.
"School." She says.
I put her on speaker phone.
Lexie's POV
"Thanks for the soup Avani!" I say rushing upstairs.
I went to me and Jadens room to see who he was talking too, I could hear the voice, it was a girl. And she was crying.
"Madi it's gonna be okay." I hear Jaden say.
Madi? What's going on with her?
"I can't stay here Jaden." She says.
"But where are you gonna go? You can't just run away." He said.
"I'm coming to L.A."
I cover my mouth with my hand.
"Y-Your what?"
"I'm coming to live with you."
"What about Christopher?"
"Christopher?" I say out loud.
I gasp and cover my mouth.
"Can he come too?" She asks.
"Sure, when will you get here?" He asked.
"Well leave tonight." She said.
"Okay, I love you."
"Love you too."
"Jaden..?" I slowly open the door.
He jumped.
"Did you hear that?" He asked.
"Yeah, I did." I look down.
"Is she okay?" I ask.
He shakes his head.
"It's getting worse." He says.
"She can't take it anymore, she's so stressed and she has nobody to look out for her. She just needs to get away from it all." He looks down at his feet.
"Are you okay with her coming here?" He asked.
"Of course I am, I get how she's feeling. I've been threw it too." I sigh.
He keeps his head down.
"When is she gonna get here?" I ask.
"Maybe tomorrow morning, their leaving tonight."
I lay on his shoulder.
"She'll be okay."
He managed to smile.
"What about the others.." he said.
"I'm sure they'll understand."
Time skip....
"There's no way we're letting another person stay here." Bryce said.
"Bryce!" I yell.
"It's Jadens sister!" Anthony yelled.
"Give me one good reason she has to stay here, and we have Avani staying here for a couple weeks!" Bryce yelled.
"She's having problems with school." Jaden said.
"What kind of problems?" Tayler asked.
Jaden looked down.
"He doesn't want to talk about it." I say.
Bryce takes a breath.
"Fine."
"But how long is she gonna stay here?" Tayler asks.
Jaden shrugged.
"That's not up to me." Jaden said.
I looked at Bryce.
He crossed his arms.
"As long as she wants." He said.
"Yes!" Anthony jumped up and down.
"When will she get here?" Tayler asked.
"Tomorrow morning I'm hoping." Jaden says.
"She's leaving tonight."
Bryce nods.
"Okay, Goodnight everybody." Griffin says going upstairs.
Jaden grabs my hand.
"Night." I say.
We head upstairs and quickly get into bed.
Jaden turns around. so he can't see me.
I put my hand on his shoulder.
"Are you okay Jaden?"
He turns around, and shakes his head.
I run my hand threw is hair.
"Shes gonna be okay, and when she gets her tomorrow we'll figure it out." I say.
He kisses my forehead.
"Goodnight." He says.
"Goodnight."
