Chapter 22 : Taken Care Of

I looked at the food and I've got to be honest, she's an amazing cook! After smelling and seeing it, my stomach made a loud grumble. I rubbed my neck and smiled awkwardly, which made Tzuyu giggle afterwards

Me: Thank you, Tzuyu

Tzuyu: Don't mention it, Y/n

She untied her hair and removed the apron, putting it back on the handle of the oven then sat back down beside me

Tzuyu: Let's eat!

I nodded. We quickly prayed then ate our Bibimbaps. The food she made was really really good! Almost like Gordon Ramsey level, for me at least

Me: Dish ish so gwud!!

She giggled again, which I liked to hear, to be honest

Tzuyu: I could tell you like it, but finish what's in your mouth first

I nodded and swallowed. We continued eating and started to have a small conversation. We finished our food shortly after.

Me: That was delicious, thanks Tzuyu!

Tzuyu: Like I said, don't mention it *giggles* Glad I decided to stop by

Me: Yeah, if you didn't, I wouldn't have gotten to taste your cooking! Well, I'll wash the dishes

Tzuyu: I'll help too

Me: It's ok, Tzuyu. You already made dinner, I'll wash the dishes

Tzuyu: *sigh* alrighty then

I nodded then took all the plates and chopsticks and placed them in the sink. I cleaned the table first then started to wash the dishes.

Tzuyu's POV

After Y/n cleaned the table, I sat on it, facing Y/n's back since he's washing the dishes now. I took out my phone and sent my mom a text telling her that I'll probably be home a bit late. There honestly weren't a lot of dishes so I saw Y/n finish washing the dishes fairly quick. He wiped his hand with a towel then he walked towards me

Y/n: How're the others doing?

Me: They're doing alright, just worried about you. Momo unnie misses you bringing her food, by the way

I giggled at the thought and he lets out a laugh

Y/n: Yep, that's Momo, alright.

Tzuyu: Will you be back by next week?

I saw him looked to the side a bit

Y/n: I'm not sure.. probably not yet..

I pout and flicked his forehead but not too hard

Tzuyu: You know, your parents wouldn't want you to stay in your house alone. They would want you to be out there living your life. You should be making them proud with what you'll do in the future, not make everyone who cares about you worried

I saw him look up at me and sighed. He smiled at me and spoke

Y/n: Alright, Tzuyu. I'll go to school sometime next week, but it'll be a surprise to the others, okay?

I smiled at his answer, mentally cheering

Me: Alright, I won't tell them yet *giggles*

Y/n: Thanks for helping me, Tzuyu

Me: No problem, Y/n

I don't know why but I decided to ruffle and play with his hair. This made me and him laugh. We talked for a bit longer then I decided to make my way home. I said goodbye to him and he thanks me for the company and I said that I'll see him soon with the others when we can. He nods then I made my way home

Y/N's POV

I walked back in the house after seeing Tzuyu leave. I smiled at what happened today. She really made me feel happier than the other days this past week.

My uncle came back home after an hour and a half since Tzuyu left.

Uncle: What's up, kiddo? Anything happened while I was out?

Me: Nothing much, Tzuyu stopped by and we already ate dinner

Uncle: Really? What did you make?

Me: To be honest, she's the one who cooked dinner. She said she wanted to cook so I let her

My uncle chuckled and I chuckled as well and rubbed the back of my neck

Uncle: Well, looks like someone knows how to take care of you *smirks*

Me: Huh? What's that supposed to mean?

Uncle: Oh it's nothing, kiddo. You'll figure it out soon enough

He walked passed me and ruffled my hair up

Me: Yah! Just tell me what you mean, uncle!

Uncle: Nope

He laughed and I just groaned. I just decided to not think about it and went to my room. I played on my computer for a bit then went to bed after.
