S5 E9 - Girl Meets Senior Year

Start from the beginning

*at school*

"What do you think of them?"
"No! That group! They look so frightened!"
"Are you crazy, Farkle? You're gonna choose the more vulnerable groups?!"
"Chill, Riley..." I sigh in exhaustion. I really don't wanna do this and Riley is on the same side. The only difference is that I'm seriously not doing it. I don't care if we promised those seniors. I don't wanna traumatize some freshmen.
"Maya" I snap out of my thoughts when Smakle calls me out
"What?"
"We're aiming at them" she points at a group of five teens, two boys and three girls. They don't look frightened, they seem actually pretty amazed instead.
I sigh in defeat, I already know I can't change their minds.
"Fine" The bell rings and our victims are obviously knocked down by all the students moving. One of the boys stands up and helps his friends as well. Time for action.
"We're Abigail Adams Patriots. We're just as much a part of this place as anybody else" he says while jumping up and down. He's like a male version of Riley.
"Get in the hole" Zay orders them with a low and husky tone
"Of course, get in the hole"
"Wh-Who are you?" Farkle asks. He isn't the most appropriate person to do this job.
"I'm Ryan"
"And w-what are you?" Yup, there were no doubts that Riley as well doesn't know how to be intimidating, huh? I guess I gotta do something here.
The other boy steps in front of his friend to face Riley. He better not do something to her or I'll end him. He's tall and has blonde hair with blue eyes and freckles all over his face. We could easily pass as siblings.
"He's my best friend, and we can do without the attitude, madam" I push Riley back and stand in front of him with a glare.
"What'd you call us?" He laughs nervously before taking a few steps back
"I'm gonna probably need help now"
"You're spunky. You know what I'm gonna call you? Spunky"
"And what are you, Spunky?" Zay adds, we're literally the only ones who can do this. A girl rests her hands on the blondie's shoulders
"His name is Mike. And you can call me Lucy" I wait for Zay to reply to her but when I turn my head around I see that he's literally drooling. If he doesn't stop I swear I'm gonna call the cops on him and child services as well.
"When my friends tell you to do something, you do what they say. This hallway here is for people who have earned it" I whisper at her warningly
"Why are you doing this?" I'm taken back by her question. How can I reply to this? 'To teach you a lesson'? 'Because we made a stupid promise'?
"You know, it's not so bad down here" I frown and look at one of the girls who is part of the group. At least she's making it easier for all of us
"You're already down there?" Lucy asks in disbelief
"Oh, I saw how this was going" Ryan and another girl of the group join her.
"We were kings" Mike sighs in defeat
"Yeah, that's over" Riley replies, showing regret about what she's doin right now. Soon all of them get in the hole, everyone except for Lucy
"You know we're not gonna stay down here, right? You guys know as soon you leave, we're just gonna go to class" I nod
"Oh, we want you to go to class"
"But spend your free time down here because of what Spunky said" Mike raises his eyebrows at Zay
"What, 'We were kings'?"
"Yeah. In middle school, you were"
"We all were"
"Right now, you're not. We are"
"We walk anywhere we want and you don't"
"Why? Because you say so?"
"Yeah" I decide to step in front of Lucy. She might be taller but she doesn't scare me at all.
"Now get down there, princess. You'll know when to come out" she sighs and gets in there too. Perfect, at least they're together
"This is a service we perform. You don't have to thank us"
"Yeah, trust me, we won't"
"Trust me, you will"
"If there's nothing else, we wish you good day" I snicker at Ryan, he really is like Riley.
"Good luck in high school" We leave them to go to class.

"So, how did it go with those freshmen?" my boyfriend asks me while we're setting the dining table. Today our families are having dinner together at the Matthews just to hang out.
"Well, they were scared of us so they obeyed"
"They stayed in the hole?" I nod
"From what I've seen: yes"
"That's good" I sigh in frustration
"Something wrong?"
"I don't wanna tear them apart"
"You won't"
"I highly doubt it. They are so close and I don't wanna ruin their friendship"
"Look at it this way: you're testing how strong their friendship really is"
"It still doesn't feel right to me"
"You know, I really feel like we aren't seeing eye to eye" I scoff playfully
"It's because you're taller than me, you jerk"
"Oh yeah? Is that why?" I nod and place the last fork on the table
"Then how about I do..." he smirks devilishly at me and I don't even have enough time to understand what is happening before I find myself with my legs wrapped around his waist and my arms around the neck.
"This? Do we see eye to eye now?" I chuckle and leave a soft kiss on his lips.
"I love you with every inch of my being"
"Well, that's not a lot of inches but I get the point" I playfully punch his shoulder. I can't believe he just said that. I am not that short.
"Hey! There's a minor in here!" Auggie yells and I quickly jump off my boyfriend as my face turns a bright shade of red.
"Get a room you two, that's disguising. I don't do that with Ava"
"Yet" I add
"What?"
"You still don't do that yet. But you will soon. Come on Auggie, you're on seventh grade. Things are happening to your body and-"
"I don't wanna hear anything else! Stop! Ew! Disgusting!" he storms to his bedroom quickly. See, same old Auggie.
"Why that reaction? It wasn't like I was going to tell him where babies come from"
"He's just uncomfortable talking about these things to you"
"Has he talked to you about it?"
"Oh, definitely. We've had long talks about his first kiss with Ava. He was so excited and-" he stops himself from revealing more details and I smirk
"No no no no. Now you have to tell me"
"It's men talk. I can't spill it. Especially if it's about my little brother" I tilt my head
"Okay, I understand" he smiles sympathetically at me and grips my hips with his hands.
"I know how to make you feel a little better" he clears his throat
"Girl, on a scale of one to ten, you're a nine because I'm the one you need" I frown at tug at the hem of his shirt
"I am a ten"
"No, it's a pickup lin-"
"I. Am. A. Ten" he laughs
"Okay, you're a definite ten"
"I know how to make you feel better too"
"Oh, yeah?"
"Yup. Elliot, I was blessed the first time I laid my eyes on you"
"But you hated me"
"I still thought you were hot"
"It worked"
"Really?"
"No, you suck at pickup lines"
"Lies! Listen here: baby, you are like a highway"
"Explain"
"I wanna ride you all night long" he tries his best to not snicker
"Okay, that was good" I wink at him
"I told you so"
