Chapter 8: Missed You

X's POV

Team Bleh lost the challenge apparently. I wasn't actually expecting that, we all weren't to be honest. But hey, at least the game might be a little more fair now that they have one member less.

I made my way to the host lounge when the challenge ended. I absolutely hate having to go through lava because that stuff sticks to you like crazy.

I dropped down on one of the chairs after cleaning and and sunk into it. I closed my eyes and felt at peace with the world. I don't know what came over me, but I felt so content and happy.

I was waiting for Four to come back since I missed him.. In fact, I missed him a lot.

I started to worry after a few minutes. Thoughts rushed into my head.

Is he okay?
Is he trying to stay away from me?
Did I say something wrong a while back?
Do I annoy him?
Does he even like me at this poi-

My thoughts were interrupted when a familiar voice said, "Hey, X. I'm back." It was Four.
I jolted my eyes open and sorta jumped a little at the sudden surprise.

"Sorry to ask but, what took you so long?" I asked him.

"Oh, y'know, contestants, that were alive, had questions and I had to answer them." He replied calmly. "Oh, I was starting to get worried.." I said, averting my eyes away.
"Oh, sorry to worry you. I'm here now, need anything?" "No no, I'm fine." I responded.

He gave me a hug and I hugged back. I just felt so safe around me. I felt so reassured for some reason.  Our relationship was what kept me happy. I don't know what I'd do without Four. He's so caring and sweet. He may seem scary and toxic on the outside, but he's such a softie. I really only want the best for him.

"Hey, Four?"
"Yes?"
"I love you."
"Love you too."

Hi gamers, Tar here. Sorry for the long wait. School was pretty busy and I had to focus on studies. Thankfully, I got excellent grades so that was fun. It's Christmas Break now and I'm going to try and update most of my books. Thanks for all the amazing comments, you guys are awesome!!!
