I shifted restlessly something was disturbing the darkness it seemed to fade and wilt away. Something moved towards me and I stood backing away as a huge wolf made its way towards me. "You need to wake up, this darkness will claim our soul. It already has a strong grip on you if you fall to far under it will keep you from ever waking up." The wolf stopped a few feet away from me and slowly recognition dawned on me. This was the wolf half of my soul. "Wake up, there is more we must do before we are allowed to rest, one challenge is not the end of our trails." When the wolf finished speaking she/I disappeared back into the darkness.

Ice cold water stung my face and drenched my body. I felt as though I had been plunged into a frozen pond in the middle of winter. I gasped and sat up gulping for air, light and color pouring in. Around me making an image. The last curls of darkness slithered away reluctantly and slowly my consciousness came back to me. Corrigan was standing in front of me holding an empty bucket, a smile stretched over her face. Azarias was standing against the wall. I could see him straining to stay where he was and not come closer. "Well look at that it worked." Corrigan said. She tossed the bucket at Azarias with a smirk. Seems like he didn't think water would be of help. "Um, how is it you can be here and not be ripped to pieces?" I asked Corrigan. Werewolves we never allowed into a vampire coven no matter there relationship. I was an exception because I was seen as part of the coven because I was the Coven Master's Consort, or rather consort to be. "Look around" Corrigan told me. I did what she said and glance around. Wherever I was I wasn't at the Manor or the Compound. I was in an expensive looking two story house. I was on a large brown leather couch, which was now soaking wet as well, in the middle of the living room. The hardwood floor was also wet and if someone didn't clean it up soon it would be ruined. Oddly the house seemed familiar but my head was still to fogged over to place it. "Did it work?" A voice for another room called. I recognized the voice immediately and turned to see the source walking into the room. Her long blonde hair was pulled up into a ponytail that mirrored Corrigan's. She was wearing a light green tank top the showed off the birthmark on her right shoulder. Thing one thing that held my attention though were her midnight blue eyes that still made me want to melt just a little. "Gwynn" I breathed. Gwynn was carrying a couple of towels which she dropped when she saw I was awake. She hurled herself at me and knocked me back down onto the couch. "What the hell Kye!" She yelled at me. She continued to smoother me and successful stopped any conversation from taking place for a few minutes. When she finally crawled off me she had tears in her eyes. "Gwynn what's wrong?" I asked concerned and confused. She slapped me across the face before answering...loudly."What's wrong!? You really don't know? You have answered a single text from me or Samantha in months. Why thought something happened to you. Than tonight you show up at my house in a coma being carried around by some stick up her ass pissy vampire. Who takes over my house and than this grumpy ripe you head off werewolf shows up. You tell me Kye, what the hell is wrong!"

I turned to look at Corrigan for help but she was just watching with an amused expression on her face. She apparently liked Gwynn's description of her. I looked at Azarias but he was of zero help as well. My gaze finally settled on a shadow in the corner of the room not far from Azarias. Tess was well hidden and she watched the whole thing with her normal look of indifference. I looked back at Gwynn who was pouting at me waiting for an answer. "Sorry about not texting...I ah I -" Gwynn cut me off. "You what? Lost your phone? Or you had better things to do than talk to two silly humans? Who care about you and were worried about you?" She demanded. "That's not it ok Gwynn!" I stood up from the couch and started pacing around the room. "Things got complicated and I just-" I stopped but Gwynn finished the sentence for me. "You just started cutting people off." I looked at her and saw the truth to her words in her eyes. "I didn't know how to handle things and I didn't want other mixed up in it." I said. "When you don't know what to do that is when you turn to your friends for help not separate yourself from them, you brainless wolf." She told me. "She has a point." Corrigan spoke up. I turned to glare at her, now she speaks. I just looked at them silently for a minute, overly aware of the vampires I the room. I really didn't need them knowing everything about me. "Fine your both right, happy?" Gwynn grabbed the towels she dropped and started cleaning up the water that had splashed the floor. "I won't be happy until you tell me what the hell has been going on." Gwynn said.
