"what is it, mina-ssi?" jimin asked nervously.
'what is she going to say? is it about the one i heard her talking about with jihyo last week?' jimin thought as he waited.
"a-ah, j-jimin..." mina whispered and stared at her hands that were on her lap, "i'm... i-i'm..." mina stuttered and it made jimin more nervous.
jimin held mina's delicate hands and started caressing her hands, "it's okay, mina-ssi. if you can't tell me now, we can talk about next time." jimin said with a smile.
mina shook her head at jimin's words, 'no! you have to tell him now, myoui mina!'
"no, i can do it." mina said and stared at jimin, "jimin, i'm..." mina shook her head again before speaking, "i wanted to go to this party jihyo told me about but i'm scared that i'll go alone. can you go with me?" mina said with a fake smile.
'great. you are such a coward, myoui mina!' she thought as she waited for jimin to response.
jimin let out a sigh of relief, he was thinking something really serious to come out of mina's lips. he smiled and chuckled, he turned to face mina and nodded, agreeing to accompany her to the party.
'i screwed up. big time.' mina thought with a smile.

"you said what!?" jihyo yelled in confused as mina just pouted. class just ended and mina agreed to stay at jihyo's house, she wanted to tell jihyo about her stupid act that happened last night.
"jihyo, i am so stupid!" mina said and covered her face with her hands, in embarrassment.
"heck yeah, you are!" jihyo exclaimed, "mina, you know how much i love you but you should have told him the truth last night!" jihyo scolded mina.
jihyo went in front of mina and removed her hands from her face to take a good look at jihyo, "mina, you have to tell him."
"you think that it is easy? jihyo, you don't how hard it is to tell him that i am leaving!" mina said and at that moment, tears started falling from her eyes, "i can see how much i meant to him, jihyo. and he also means so much to me, i can't just go to him and say that i am leaving after a week. i just... can't." mina said and jihyo stayed quiet.
jihyo wrapped her arms tightly around mina and she cried more. jihyo patted her back softly for her to feel a bit better. after a few minutes, mina finally stopped crying and it is now lying down beside jihyo at the carpeted floor.
"jihyo, what should i do?" mina asked and broke the silence between them.
"just tell him, minari. i know it is hard but it's the only option for you to do." jihyo said, "hey." jihyo called and mina looked to her right and stared at her best friend's face, "i know you can do it." jihyo said with a genuine smile.
mina smiled back and stared back at the ceiling, jihyo did the same too.
"minari." jihyo called again.
"hmm?"
"you also forgot something to tell jimin." jihyo said and it made mina stare at the ceiling in confusion.
"what? what is it?" she asked.
"you forgot to tell him that you like him." jihyo said as if it was nothing.
mina blushed and sighed, "what's the point of confessing my feelings when i know he doesn't like me back. i would prefer for him to still look at me as his best friend than someone who likes him." mina explained.
"but what if he likes you back?"
"i highly doubt it."

"taehyung, what should i wear to this party next week?" jimin asked as he and taehyung walked around the mall.
"huh? just wear any casual clothes, hyung." taehyung said and continued scrolling his phone.
"n-no, i-i... i wanted to buy new clothes for the party." jimin said and scratched the back of his neck. taehyung looked away from his phone and at jimin, who was trying to send him a signal about something that he doesn't want to say out loud.
taehyung tilted his head in confusion before understanding jimin's message, "ohhhhhhh!!!" taehyung said and started laughing.
"y-ya! kim t-taehyung!" jimin called and hit him in the shoulder lightly.
"you're trying to impress someone at the party. i wonder who?" taehyung asked to himself, "is it that girl who you partnered up for a dance performance in school? what was her name again? she was pretty, hyung." taehyung said with a proud look.
jimin shook his head and hit taehyung again in the shoulder but it was hard this time, "seulgi? no! my goodness taehyung--"
"aaahh!!! i know who it is!" taehyung cut jimin off and started clapping his hands like a kid, "is it mina-ssi?" taehyung joked and jimin could only feel his cheeks warmed, and it was the only confirmation taehyung needed.
'woah, mina-ssi will go to the party too? that's something you don't see everyday.' taehyung thought.
taehyung placed his arm on jimin's shoulders and slowly brought him to a boutique, where taehyung always buys his clothes.
"with my help, you'll look so ethereal that all girls AND boys will fall for you."
