"BEEP. BEEP. BEEP

Urgh. I slowly sat up in my warm bed as I rubbed my sleep deprived eyes.
I quickly turned off the alarm as I was already starting to get a headache because of the annoying
beeping.

Today was the day.

This was it. The day that I had been waiting for. 3 years. 3 whole fucking years.

I could finally return back to Busan. The home where I grew up in. The place that reminded me of my late family. The place that I longed to see these past 3 years.

I jumped out of bed, ready to get this last day over with. I could now finally achieve my dreams of becoming a nurse. After 3 hardcore years of training at the National University of Seoul, where I never had any breaks at all, I could finally become a nurse in an hospital somewhere in Busan.

No one knew how hard it was for me. I wasn't allowed to visit any other places during my training as I had to be fully concentrated in order to get a degree. Mad rules right?

Anyways, I quickly had a cold shower and changed into navy blue jeans and a peach hoodie pairing it with black Vans. I ate toast and beans and quickly headed out so I wouldn't miss my bus.

45 minutes later.

As soon as I entered the university, my best friend Dahyun jumped onto me.

"Hey Y/N! You finally made it. These 3 years are so gonna be worth it now." She said smiling.

"Woah, calm down Dahyun." I chuckled as her excitement made me laugh. "I know, I did it. But I couldn't have done it without your support Dahyun. You really helped me at the start where I felt like giving up." I said as she gave me a sad smile.

"Listen Y/N, it was all you. I only gave you advice but you were the one who worked things out by yourself. I know the university's schedule is crappy as hell but you did it."

I hugged her as she comfortingly stroke my back. She wasn't my best friend; she was my sister.

"Now come on, you aren't gonna be depressed on your last day and I just realised we are standing in front of the entrance." She said as we both laughed at our stupidity.

"Okay, let's head to class." I said.

"W-wait. Mr Wang said he wanted to see you."

"What, now?"

"Yep."

"Okay then, I'll see you in first period."

"Alright bye Dr Choi." She said as she laughed.

"Hey! There's a difference between a nurse and a doctor." I said as I face palmed and chuckled in between.

Before I could look up she disappeared.

At Mr Wang's office.

Knock. Knock.

"Come in." spoke a deep and warming voice.

"Hi Sir, I was told that you wanted to talk to me?"

"Yes yes. Take a seat." He said as he stood up to get a piece of paper from the cabinet behind him.

I looked at him confused. He probably noticed my confusion as he sat down and shook my hand.

"Well done Choi Y/N. You have been a brilliant and a hardworking student at this university. Here is your degree, you have been accepted into the Green Garden in Busan." He spoke as he pushed his loose glasses back up to the bridge of his nose.

I immediately stood up and jumped for joy. I was so happy. Everything was worth this moment in time, my hard work had paid off. I quickly thanked Mr Wang before I ran out of his office to inform Dahyun.

After first period.

"What did he want?" she questioned as we made our way to the canteen.

I proudly held up my degree and showed her. I could see the excitement in her eyes as she once again leaped on me as she screamed "YESSSS MY BEST FRIEND DID IT!"

Timothy the janitor gave her dirties as she was way too loud for 9 in the morning.

"Dahyun I know your happy for me but you need to be quite!" I laughed as I had to scold this 24 year old baby.

"I know but I'm just so happy for you Y/N." She said as we started walking to the canteen.

"But... I don't want you to go to Busan tommorow even though I know working there will make you happy. I'm gunna miss you." She said as she frowned.

"Dahyun..." I spoke.
"I promise to message you every single day and FaceTime you."

"Okayyy." She said sadly and she smiled.

I was really going to miss Dahyun. She was one of the reasons I enjoyed staying in Seoul, her bubbly and loud personality could cheer anyone up.

"Come on now, my stomach is yearning for some food!" She said as she pulled my arm and dragged me to the canteen.

5 hours later.

"That was so much fun!" I screamed.

"You completely did not sound like a dying whale." Dahyun said as we both bursted out laughing.

"Yah! I wasn't that bad."

"Oh yeah? Then why did the bartender put his hands over his ears when you began to rap to Agust D huh?."

"Urgh I give up." I said to Dahyun as we both chuckled.

10 minutes later.

Dahyun dropped me off to my apartment as she was going to visit me tommorow morning to drop me off at the train station.

As soon as I entered my room, I completed my remaining packing and fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. Tommorow was going to a long day.
