Authors Note

So uhm, this is the first thriller I am writing. I do plan on completing this book unlike all the other ones I have not. The first chapter is iffy, but I have very little writing experience, like seriously the only things I really write are the things I'm assigned in school. I've had friends and other wattpad readers read the first few chapters I have started and they like it so I hope you like it too. I'm going to warn you that each chapter that I post is UNEDITED so if there are any errors I am dearly sorry, but I will go back in the end and edit everything. Oh and there is some.. foul language... Sorry this is so long, but uhm, enjoy the story. Feedback is appreciated. (: Oh and last but not least, sorry for the late release of the story!

CHAPTER ONE 7:00 AM

My phone lets out an annoying alarm noise, signaling that it’s time for me to get up and get ready for school. Lazily, I reach over and hit the snooze button. Failing to fall back asleep, I get up and walk across the room to my personal bathroom. I shower then go to my closet and pick out a pair of jeans and a tee. I naturally let my hair dry into its curls while I go downstairs to eat a bowl of cereal.

I pour myself a bowl of lucky charms, but my mom decides to come rushing in the kitchen making me spill milk all over.

“Seriously mom?” I ask in disbelief. “Usually it’s the kid making the mess.”

“Sorry hun. Just trying to find where I put my mascara.” She opens all the drawers and makes an even bigger mess.

“I don’t know why you put all that crap on your face mom. You’re beautiful without it. But before you make an even bigger mess, have you tried looking in your purse?”

“I looked twice, then dumped it out.. Wasn’t there..”

I start cleaning everything up. “Center council in the car.”

My mom goes through the garage door. I hear her open the close the car door within a few seconds then she walks in the kitchen. “What would I do without you?” She kisses me on top of the head then goes into her room.

As I’m eating my cereal I get a text. It was from my “friend” Allyssa, who usually only texts me when she needs something. I don’t really mind giving her money, or a ride somewhere, or a place to crash for a night, but I’d like if we actually had a better connection.

Football game tonight. You in or out?

I thought for a moment of what I was going to say. Then I replied.

Is there a party afterwards?

Seconds later I received a text back.

Yeah, but you don’t have to go. I wasn’t asking about the party, I was asking about the game. What do you say?

I wasn’t much of a party person, so I’m glad she had the decency to only ask me about the football game.

Totally (:

I put my bowl in the sink and go up to my room. I throw my laptop and books into my bag and grab my pair of Converse. I go in my bathroom and brush my teeth. I bobby pin my hair back, and apply a coat of lip-gloss. Then I text my mom.

Two minutes. I’ll be in the car.

Without me, my mom would always be late to work. I don’t typically like to drive to school because I found out that after school everyone wants me to car pool them everywhere. So I carpool with my mom. I also stay on top of my mom because with the busy work she has, she still acts like a teenager when she is at home. She has like every source of social media and is always asking me which selfie looks better.

One time she asked me: If I were to ever go missing, which selfie would you give to the police?

My mom rushed into the car and before she even started the car, she looked in the mirror.

“Mum?”

“Huh?” she asked, still focused on her face in the mirror.

“I have to go to the best place on earth called school, and you have this awesome thing called a job at this really cool place called work,” I said sarcastically, yet with a serious tone.

“Right.” She turned the car on and opened the garage door. She then backed out of the driveway so fast, almost like she was in a hurry. But before I knew it she hit the brakes really fast. But the breaks didn’t help at all. We had already collided with another car. I didn’t recall seeing another car coming from down the street though.

I was trying to take in everything that had just happened, but so much more was happening at a rate that I couldn’t really understand what was going on around me. My car door swung open and a guy reached over and unbuckled my seatbelt. I heard my phone drop on to the cement and let out a gasp, but before I knew it I was being lifted out of my seat and put in the back of a Black Bentley.

“Got her?” a husky voice said from the front.

“Alive and breathing” said the man next to me. I tried to go out the car door, but they must have known I was going to try and get out. I started banging on the window and started screaming, in attempt for somebody, although nobody was around, to save me. Then a cloth went over my face and all of my surroundings went black.
