"I'm tired, but I'm ok." He stroked his fingers down her cheek, making her close her eyes and lean into his touch, before finishing with them pressing gently under chin, tilting her head to make her look fully into his eyes.

"I love you. Please kiss me." She whispered wanting nothing more than to physically feel his love because every time she did it made her forget her looming betrayal. Stephen could call for her at any time and she'd have to go running, she'd have to give herself to a man she hated and whom hated her just as much. She'd have to do whatever it took to save her relationship, her reputation, Michael's marriage and the secrecy of the real status of his health. Now she was also throwing a possible baby into the mix, Stephen had got her pregnant once and although he was now older and there was a lesser chance of it, she didn't want it to happen again. When she got pregnant, it had to be with Seb and that was the main reason she was so hungry and needy for him. It wasn't just that he took away the fear, the guilt and the pain that Stephen's sick proposal had inflicted on her, it was because she was also desperate for her baby to belong to the man she loved more than life itself. His love was a drug, both the good kind and the bad addictive kind. Seb leant in, brushing his lips over hers and she swallowed, gripping handfuls of his t-shirt as she chased his lips.

"What's going on Chloe?" He whispered, pulling back from her lips. "What is this about?"

"What?" She looked at him, was she being that obvious? "I only asked for a kiss."

"Something isn't right." He placed a hand on her waist to keep her from pulling away from him.

"I don't understand."

"You're a bit....." He paused, wanting to choose his words carefully. ".....different."

"Different?" She went to step back and felt him tighten his hold on her waist.

"Yeah....highly sexed, dare I say it....needy."

"I thought you liked me needy?" She twirled a finger around on his chest, yeah she'd been too keen and now he'd sussed that something was wrong.

"I do, but....."

"But what?"

"You exhausted me last night. Your increased demands of me over this last week...."

"You're saying that I'm too demanding?" She stepped back, raising a brow and Seb quickly realised that he'd probably said the wrong thing.

"I just feel that something's not right with you."

"You're digging yourself into a hole here." She was desperately trying to come up with an excuse for her recent behaviour.

"So your increased sex drive is...."

"I'm ovulating." She blurted it out. "To put in your kind of terminology, we've been in the window for a pit stop." She looked at his bemused face, she needed him to believe her. He pulled her close and was about to say something back when the door opened and Britta walked in.

"Oh sorry, I've interrupted something haven't I?" She smiled at the sight of them together.

"No, it's fine." Seb replied, making no effort to release Chloe from his hold.

"I just wanted to remind of the time, your briefing starts in a few minutes and also to let you know that everything is sorted." She opened the door as her mobile began to ring. "Don't be late!" She trilled as she stepped out and shut the door.

"You'd better go." Chloe sighed, knowing this would pretty much be the last she'd see of him until after the race.

"Liebe." He kissed her forehead and then headed for the door. "Don't put pressure on yourself to conceive, don't make this your sole focus. It'll happen soon."
