It was early June, the sun was shining, birds were chirping and Mina was up. She was getting ready for the day ahead of her. Currently, Mina was in her suite getting ready for the day. She was staying in a lodge in the Amazon rainforest. Today she and a group of people were going to tour the rainforest with a tour guide. Once she finished getting ready, she headed into the lobby waiting for other people to show up. After a few minutes, everyone, including the tour guide, were in the lobby ready to go. They headed down the first path. There they saw many birds and sloths. Everyone oo-ed and aww-ed at the sight.
As they continued to wander down the path, Mina saw a bird she really liked and decided to get a closer look at it. She walked towards the bird and snapped a picture of it before it flew onto a different tree. Mina looked at the photo on her camera in approval. She turned around to join back with the group, but saw no one there. She started to panic. She speed walked her way down a random path, hoping it was the right path the group took. She looked around frantically, trying to search for the rest, but found no luck. They weren't there and she was lost. Mina stopped and tried to think when all of a sudden..
ROAR
She turned around and saw a terrifying sight in front of her. A Jaguar. She had read about Jaguars before this trip. She found them cool, but she never thought she would run into one. Not only that, but it looked hungry.
Mina tried to think of an idea to help her, but nothing. Nothing came to her brian except run, but she knew that would be a bad idea. The Jaguar could catch her within a second if she tried to run. As she was caught up thinking, the Jaguar started walking closer and closer. It wasn't until it was 2 meters away from her when she noticed how close it was getting. 'I'm gonna die here!' Mina thought to herself. The Jaguar walked one step closer and Mina just closed her eyes waiting for the impact of the Jaguar on herself. The Jaguar started to get ready to attack, but before it could a snake slithered right in front of it. The Jaguar pounced onto the snake. Mina opened her eyes and before she could see the whole scene in front of her she ran away. With her breath heavy on her chest and eyes blurry with tears she came to a stop.
She bent over trying to catch her breath. After a few minutes she regained her composure and took a deep breath. "I can't believe I'm alive," She said to herself. She stood up straight and before her eyes she saw her tour group. She instantly felt a huge weight lifted off her chest. With a sigh of relief leaving her lips she joined back with her group as subtly as possible. "Finally with that we have concluded with our tour. Thank you for coming with me today and I hope you enjoy the rest of your day," The tour guide spoke in a happy tone. Once everyone was guided back to the lodge, they were free to do what they wanted. Mina dragged herself back to her suite and flopped onto the bed. 'I've had enough of the rainforest today.' She thought to herself before drifting off into a peaceful slumber.
