Betrayal (Future AU Eddsworld)

Chapter 1 - Interrogation

Darkness. Darkness was the only thing Tom could see as his eyes started to adjust to the darkness of the room he started to realize what was in it.
The room was dark with dim lights above where Tom was. Tom tried to move his legs and arms but they were stuck in place. Something was keeping him in place. He looked up at his arms to see a chain the connected to the ceiling to his wrists with metal cuffs on them. Tom couldn't recall what happened or how he got here. Tom realized that when he looked down the same was with his feet. Just instead of the chains being attached to the ceiling they were attached to the floor. The only body part Tom he could move was his head. Tom took his attention to the chains and focused on trying to find a way out.     A door. There was a door on the right side of the wall in front of Tom. Suddenly Tom could hear keys rattle on the other side of the door, a click and someone started walking in.
A sudden rush of fear and adrenaline started to rush through him. A man in black from head to toe came through the door holding something in his hand that seemed to be a duffle bag.
"Hey," Tom said to the man gathering up courage  "why am I here?"
The man placed the bag down on a table to the left of Tom, unzipped the bag and started to look through it shuffling around. Suddenly the man pulled out a crowbar from the bag. Tom quickly got the sudden feeling that he wasn't here for anything good. The man walked towards Tom and asked
"What do know about the Red Leader?" Said the man in a loud and threatening voice
"Who?" Tom said trying to sound as genuine and tough as possible but actually was feeling terrified.
Suddenly the man bashed Tom on his side as hard as he could with the crowbar. Tom grunted in pain. He's already been through enough physical attacks, this wasn't the worst he's been through.
"Wrong answer" the man said clearly annoyed. "Now, what do you know about the Red Leader" the man repeated. "tell me everything"
"I don't know anything about the Red Leader goddamn it" Tom replied.
The man lifted the crowbar again and bashed Tom again just on the other side with the same amount of force. This time causing Tom yelling in pain.
"Then why are you here in this photo?" The man said pulling a photo out from his pocket and showing it to Tom. The photo was Tom and The Red Leader walking down an alleyway.
"That looks nothing like me" Tom said wondering how he even got that picture.
The man once again struck him but this time with an incredible amount of force. Suddenly blood spat from Tom's mouth. Tom figured one of his ribs were bruised due to the fact that it hurt to breathe after the fatal blow.
"What are the Red Leader's next attack plans?" The man persisted, getting more annoyed by the second.
"I don't know" Tom said in a broken harsh voice. Tom had to keep his mouth shut about the Red Leader. If not the consequences would be much worse than this.
The man strikes Tom again, this time on the head and hit the goggles he had on to see. They flew off his face and landed on the floor, by the sound of it they smashed. He tried to lift his head as his vision became blurry and fogged.
"That's the best you can do?" Tom said once again trying to keep up the tough guy act.
He quickly regretted the smart ass remark as he was once again met with another blow to the head. Tom's head pounded as he soon became unable to move, his head hung down, looking to the floor.
Suddenly the brit heard a loud bang and a CRASH. Something big and heavy just hit the floor. He started hear people come in with the sound of footsteps filling the room with yelling following in. He tried to listen in to their conversations but it seemed to become useless as his hearing started to get faint. The voices were getting farther and farther away as Tom slowly lost consciousness.
