Things were going well for Midoriya Izuku.

Things were also going well for the #3 Hero, The Masked Hero: Zero, also known as The Quirkless Hero: Zero.

He was ever popular with the public, and his hero ranking was slowly rising. Rumors were that he might even beat Endeavor for the #2 Hero spot next ranking, which would be in a couple of months.

At UA, his job was going splendidly. He helped many students discover their true potential, and as the Sports Festival neared, more and more students came to him for help. In particular, Zero met with Todoroki Shoto everyday to go over his powerful dual quirk.

Zero managed to convince Todoroki to use both sides, and helped him therapeutically as well - helping him get over his trauma, and even have the courage to visit his mother in the hospital.

As for his social life, it was certainly more interesting. Zero - no, Midoriya Izuku was dating Hero Course 1-A student Shinsou Hitoshi, and their relationship pleased Hisashi Midoriya very much. The public didn't know who Hisashi's son was, but they knew his son was the Pro Hero Zero.

Of course, many tried to stalk the family to find out the youngest Midoriya's identity, as it was a closely guarded secret, but leave it to a family of pros to keep the media away.

Their security was even tougher than UA's, which is why no news reporter ever dared to venture forth. It was known as "where journalists and photographers go to die" amongst people with media/news - related jobs.

So, Izuku's secret boyfriend relationship with Hitoshi was safe.

Everything was wonderful.

But of course, when everything is fantastic, the universe knows something's wrong. Because nothing can ever be right.

"Izuku honey! Come down, breakfast is ready, and you have your job at UA!" his mother called.

Izuku did have his own apartment, but his mother insisted that he stay with them after he was wounded, so she could take care of him. Izuku was out of his wheelchair and in physical therapy, but he expected to be back to normal and in his own apartment within a week.

"Izuku. Breakfast!" His mother called again.

But Izuku somewhat enjoyed being back with his parents. It was almost nostalgic, being with them. He hardly saw them anymore, thanks to his hero work and new job at UA. Well, not so new anymore.

"IZUKU." His mom said in a calm, terrifyingly-demonic voice. "I SAID BREAKFAST IS READY."

"Eep!" Izuku squeaked, breaking out of his thoughts. "C-Coming, Mom!"

Izuku trudged down the stairs with a purple-haired boy by his side. "Is your Mom always this scary?" Hitoshi asked. Izuku nodded, fear in his eyes. Hitoshi gulped.

As soon as the two boys came into view, Inko's appearance changed from a demon with gravity-defying hair rising with an ominous aura on par to Aizawa's, to a lovely, sweet secretary she was... sometimes.

"Oh, Shinsou-kun is here!" She sighed. "Young love... I'm not opposed to it, but make sure you both have each other's consent, okay?"

"AAGH!!" Izuku blurted, while Hitoshi curled into a ball of blushing embarrassment on the floor. "I-IT'S NOT LIKE THAT, MOM!"

"Oho... so you haven't done it with Hitoshi yet, Izuku?

"N-NO! STOP ASKING THAT MOM ASKAOMAWFIOGHJ!"

"How about ever? Sometimes it's good to have experience, though your first should always be with someone you love..."

"MOM! WE ARE NOT TALKING ABOUT THIS NOW!"

"Now?"

"EVER!!!"

Inko sighed. They always come crawling back...

Izuku dragged himself to the table, a blushing, mortified mess. Hitoshi sat two seats away from him, and refused to look at his boyfriend. Izuku sighed.

Hisashi came through the door, breathing heavily as if he ran a marathon. "Hisashi! What's wrong!?" Inko asked her husband, and he rushed to the living room, everyone following him.

"Look!" He said, and turned on the tv to show the news.

"Breaking News! The identity of The Masked Hero: Zero, or The Quirkless Hero: Zero, has been revealed! The #3 Pro Hero, whose identity has been kept a close secret, has finally been unraveled, thanks to the efforts of the news team!

Zero is the known son of Midoriya Hisashi, also known as the Pro Hero Flamethrower, and the son of Flamethrower's wife, Midoriya Inko. His name is Midoriya Izuku."

A picture of Izuku appeared on screen, wearing a loose sweatshirt puffing out cold air. His muscles were somewhat visible, and seeing as he was already a good-looking dude, the picture only amplified his handsomeness.

Hitoshi blushed slightly as he looked at the picture, but his blush went away quickly

Hitoshi blushed slightly as he looked at the picture, but his blush went away quickly. After all, who needs a picture of the world's cutest guy when the guy is their boyfriend?

"We discovered his identity by cross-referencing all the green haired quirkless males born that have the last name Midoriya. Although the last name is common, quirkless people only make up 20% of the population, which means they are rare to come by. Especially green haired quirkless males that have an uncanny resemblance to the Pro Hero Flamethrower."

"From there it was a matter of guesswork, as we cross-referenced the top results to the surveillance street pictures of common green-haired boys near the Midoriya household."

"There is a 94.6% chance that this young man you see on the screen is the Pro Hero Zero. It indeed is shocking that he is so young, as he looks only to be about 16 or 17, which means he must have debuted as a pro when he was 13!"

"Now, Zero," The news lady turned to the screen, looking intently at the camera. "If you are watching this, it's best to just reveal yourself now. There's no point in hiding it anymore. And also..." She added, "You'll be giving us a good story of your journey as a pro. After all, it's your mission to spread your message that the 'quirkless aren't useless', correct? Meet me at my office if you wish to ch-" BLEEP. The screen to the tv was shut down and went black as Izuku turned it off.

The Midoriya family, Hitoshi included, looked at the green haired boy, waiting for the plan of action.

"They... they're good. There's no point in denying it now, that's right. I will be getting unwanted publicity anyway, but if I address this head on and admit to this, then news reporters will stalk me less because they won't be trying to get the truth out of me. This is the best way to avoid as much publicity as possible..."

Izuku sighed. "They've backed me into a corner. Honestly... the media are demons. A powerful foe. Aizawa would agree with me..."

"So... does that mean..." Hisashi trailed off.

"Yeah... I'll meet with that news anchor today. Tell Nezu I won't be able to make it today..."

"I've got a meeting to attend to."
