The teenager hummed to himself as he skated into the School parking lot, it was packed full of different kinds of cars. From low budget rentals to top budget owned cars, it was annoying that kids were split into groups based on social status but it did help define who was who and who a person should avoid. The teen let the skateboard slow to a stop before he stepped off it and picked it up, holding it under his arm. He was already so not prepared for this, the small teen gently tugged at the sleeves of his cardigan before beginning to walk towards the school entrance. He couldn't spot anyone he hated just yet so that was a good sign...for now. He ruffled his hair as he walked up the steps alongside a few other students. None of which he actually knew.
The teenager let his eyes linger on the outside of the building for a few moments before he allowed his feet to carry him inside. He hated how flashy the school looked on the outside, merely because it didn't match the schools inside nor its reputation. It was a pretty bad place to be at in regards to other students, everyone was actually rather hostile towards one another. But the teachers were fairly decent, they knew what they were doing and some twerps who wanted to interrupt weren't going to stop them from doing it. He respected them for that at the very least. The teenager kept his gaze on the tiled marble flooring, he could tell that all eyes were on him. He was the nerdy kid with no friends, everyone knew him by now.
Daniel let himself relax a little more, he had noticed that if you were slightly reserved you had a higher chance of surviving the corridors packed with people. He let his body seem loose as he strutted up to his locker, his eyes lifting to see his locker. A somewhat upset sigh leaving his lips, of course, someone had vandalized his locker. Again. The teen propped the skateboard up against his leg before beginning to slowly scrub at the large words written across his locker with his handkerchief. He was fairly certain that it was just a marker, not anything permanent. His chest ached as he actually took in the words written there.
'Nerd!'
'Loser!'
'Freak!!!'
The male smiled softly to himself as he realized he had been right, it was merely a marker that had done the job. The locker was mostly clean, just a few smudges of faint red ink left upon it. Although his ears hadn't missed the giggling he could hear from across the hall. The girls were probably laughing at him and the suffering he had just endured. Jokes on them, it wasn't an inconvenience anymore. He gripped the lock, slowly twisting the dial while inputting his code. After a few moments, it clicked open. The teenager opened it and picked up his skateboard before placing it inside. The teen then proceeded to grab his calculus textbook along with a plain notebook. He closed it and relocked it. The small click sending a small bit of familiar warmth through his veins, it was comforting in its own weird way.
The teenager turned his gaze back to the floor before he began walking along the corridor. Mind far too focused on trying to remember which class he would have to go to instead of where he was going. Daniel sighed as he finally remembered where in the hell the calculus classroom was along with his new homeroom. Suddenly the teen went flying backwards, his tush hitting the ground with a small thud. His textbook had hit the floor right between the male's feet. Daniel hissed softly and rubbed at his tushy before looking up in fear. He really hoped he hadn't run into someone he wasn't quite prepared for yet.
The teen swallowed harshly as his eyes settled on the somewhat worried face of the male stood in front of him. He was frozen on the spot, the male in front of him was handsome. No....He was absolutely gorgeous. His hazel eyes filled with worry as he knelt down, his raven hair settled over his forehead neatly. He was fairly tall with a somewhat muscular build, the muscle shirt he wore along with the leather jacket sure did showcase this. He blinked slowly as he came back to reality. Panic filled his heart, squeezing it tightly.
"I-I'm so sorry! I d-didn't mean to do that! I should have been watching where I was going..." He panicked further, his once loud voice trailing off into a whisper as the other smiled apologetically at him.
The male in front of him chuckled gently and offered the boy in front of him his hand. Hoping to help him up since it had been him who was truly at fault here. He was paying no attention, too busy trying to find his locker in the hall of never-ending fucking lockers. Daniel sighed as he felt himself pale further but instead of shying away from the hand, he settled his own into it. The other gripped it gently before pulling the teen up onto his feet. Daniel giggled shyly before looking at his hands, having pulled away from the male to fiddle with his own fingers. A smile settled on the taller males cheeks but Daniels dropped the minute he heard those same girls from before, they were giggling once more...
"It's alright. It was my own fault. I wasn't paying any sort of attention to what was going on around me. Forgive me?" He smiled cheekily at the shy boy.
Daniel relaxed a little more, the tone of the other's voice easing him a little more. He ignored the evil giggles coming from the girls and nodded slowly and decided to look up at the male in front of him. He just smiled gently and ran a hand through his purple locks. He nodded to himself this time and raised his hand to show he was going to say something else.
"Yeah...Y-You're forgiven. I should get going...Once again tho, I am terribly sorry for running into you." He stated gently before beginning to walk around the male.
Daniel hurried down the corridor, some people looking at him in pity while others looked on in amusement. The other teenager stood there shocked, he was kinda hoping the other could stick with him until they genuinely did have to go off to whatever classes either had planned. He seemed like a fairly sweet kid, he probably had a few friends due to the shy and introverted yet kind nature he possessed. He also seemed to know his way around the school which would have greatly helped him. The male sighed and shook his head, his hand slowly sliding down his face before he began walking again. But was suddenly halted by his boot-clad feet colliding with a hard object. He looked down and spotted the textbook which lay forgotten at his feet. He tensed a little before bending down to pick it up.
It was a calculus textbook, probably the smaller males textbook. He huffed a little before opening it to check if it contained a name. He ended up having to flick through the whole thing as he wondered a little further down the corridor, he had noticed that everyone's eyes were settled onto him. Probably because he was new here more than anything. A deviant smile settling on his cheeks once he reached the back page. A name was surrounded by well-drawn teddy bears and hearts. The name was written rather elegantly in the back.
"Daniel Miller...huh...Cute name for a cute guy..." He muttered to himself, having finally stopped at his locker.
It was right next to one covered in red stains, poor person probably had a prank played on them. It was only the first day here too! The male closed the textbook and proceeded to put the code he was given into his locker before opening it and setting a few of his things inside. He closed it and leaned against the locker, the book clutched tightly in his hands. Now all he had to do was find the teenager he had bumped into and knocked to the floor.
---RIIIIIIINNNNG---
The male sighed and growled to himself. 'There goes that plan of action.' He looked around and watched as everyone filtered out of the corridor, the girls winking at him as they passed by. He internally gagged at the thought of how much makeup they had caked onto their faces. He began filtering out of the corridor also, now trying to find his homeroom since nobody had actually given him a proper tour of the place. The male's mind drifted off of the other teenager and to how the hell he would survive here.
Everyone slowly shuffled to their respective rooms. Daniel stood silently outside his in the line of other students he shared his homeroom with. They didn't look terrible but they didn't look too friendly either. Today was going to be hell...But maybe it could be made bearable if he found the other he had bumped into.
Both boys began wondering about how their days would turn out, both hoping for the best possible outcome.
