This is my first story these characters are not mine...well some of them are. English is not my first language and I'll gladly accept any advice

It was a beautiful Sunday morning, and Kongpob woke up excited today was his 7th birthday the day he had been waiting for his whole life. For the last month Kongpob's senses had been getting stronger. He quickly ran to his mirror to check his reflection. Kongpob was utterly disappointed his eyes were the same deep brown and his canines were the absolutely ordinary, today was supposed to be the day of his first change but nothing was different. His frown quickly changed into a smile when he smelled the tantalizing aromas coming from the kitchen, he was about to head down when his mother and auntie Mita burst into his room quickly barricading the door with anything they could find.
     
"Mae what's wrong" Kongpob asked his mother as he smelled the panic on her. All of his instincts screamed danger as his mother ran over to him giving him a reassuring smile claiming everything was alright. Does she think I'm an idiot? Kongpob thought to himself. Kongpob's Mae looked at Mita then quickly back to Kongpob."Let's play a game" she said as she hugged him tightly.

"Ok Mma" before Kongpob could finish his sentence his Mae had already jumped reached his window and leaped out of it landing gracefully and with ease mere seconds later Mita landed next to her. They ran for the forest away from the house. All of a sudden his Mae produced a silver silver bottle spraying him all over Kongpob gagged as he tasted it on his lips. Once she was done she handed it to his aunt who quickly did the same.

"Mae why are we hiding our scent?" Kongpob asked. "It's a part of the game you and Auntie Mita run while me and your por look for you."..."Mae where is Por?" He's waiting for me inside the house I have to go now. You and Auntie Mita start running."

Kongpob's Mae gave him one last kiss and rushed back towards the house, but before he could follow his aunt Mita held him trying to pull him deeper into the forest. " Little Kong we have to hide quickly or will lose" Mita said with a fake smile on her face." Hurry now."

Kong refused to move he could smell the other scents inside the house he could smell the blood. For the first time in his life little Kongpob was truly afraid I have to save them. Nooo you have to save yourself... Kongpob was confused all of a sudden there a was another voice in his head telling him to go. He fought it he had to go he had to do something. Mita tried pulling him again. He turned to her with bright red eyes angry at her and ordered her to realease him. Kongpob's voice held so much authority she nearly did. 

"No No No I can't let him go I made a promise." Mita screamed internally. When it looked as though Kongpob would order her again she quickly knocked him unconscious. " I'm sorry little Kong, but I told them I'd keep you safe please forgive me"...she whispered in his ear before picking him up and running as far as her legs would carry them.

Mita kept running till they arrived at an abandoned airfield and boarding the waiting plane to take them to safety. Kong was still asleep when she swore to him she would do everything in her power to help him whether he wanted to live a peaceful life or seek revenge for the injustices he'd suffer that day and in the near future.
