"At home I would assume, she was released the day after it all happened. Both of them were in shock, Miranda even more, she was kept for a few days longer. They've both got some scrapes and bruises but nothing to bad." Catherine reassured her best friend about her secretary and assistant.

"Good." Kate muttered with a distant look on her face and sigh.

"I'm going to go outside a bit, do you mind?" she asked Catherine as she shook her head immediately. "Of course not, you want any help?" she asked Kate as she was already halfway out of the house. "No." Kate told her as she headed in the opposite direction of the pool where she could hear laughter coming from.

Catherine on the other hand had a plan forming in her brain. Wiping her hands off the tea towel, she made sure Louis was still asleep and headed for the pool. She'd hear him if he were to start crying. "Where's Kate?" William asked when he noticed his wife walking up to them. "She's in the shade, the other side of the house. She asked about Lexi and Miranda." Catherine noted as her husband and her best friend's boyfriend looked up.

"You think it would help her if she saw someone that was there?" William asked, reading his wife's mind in a matter of speaking. "I think it wouldn't hurt, we can't relate to what she's going through. Lexi and Miranda were there, dragging bodies and hearing everything. Maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea." Catherine suggested, at this point she'd try anything to help her friend get over this. Cause it didn't seem like she was going to get out of it very quickly on her own, if not ever. "Do you have her number?" Glen asked her as Catherine nodded her head, they talked for a few more minutes before Catherine returned and made the necessary calls to get the two woman out there.

***********

Sitting back on her bedroom window seat she looked out the window. She watched as everyone prepared for the birthday party in the name of Arthur and George. She couldn't make herself go down there. An open marquee for some shade had been set up the day before and now the cooks were putting everything in place.

Her chat with Lexi and Miranda two days ago had helped a little, but it hadn't solved anything either. She was absolutely terrified all the time. From the moment she would hear something she'd literally jump through the roof.

She'd noticed Glen's family being brought onto the lawn and being introduced to Kate and William. they'd met his parents and Luke already at the hospital along with Luke. But they had yet to meet the rest of his family who'd all made the journey here to celebrate Arthur's fifth birthday.

She noticed Catherine taking a glimpse over her shoulder and at the window she was sat behind. She noticed Catherine giving her a subtle nod as Kate turned her head to look away.

She took a deep breath before getting of the window seat. She needed to push herself, she knew all the people below. If she didn't start pushing herself like Dr Charles had told her she might never get over the fear. There wouldn't be a better time than right now. She was surrounded by a bunch of people and she knew all of them. But as she stood in the kitchen about to step onto the patio, she simply couldn't make herself go out there.

"Hey." Harry said beside her and she nearly jumped through the ceiling, she hadn't heard him approaching at all. But she turned to him with her head with tears in her eyes. Catherine had helped her get ready earlier today and for the first time in a long time and despite the brace she felt like a woman again.

Harry had been a god sent in so many ways, he'd been diagnosed with PTSD himself after returning from Afghanistan. She'd been pregnant at the time, but she'd helped him through their growing friendship. He was the only one who might even know what Kate might be going through.
