steve's p.o.v.

we're in the quinjet and tony is briefing us about what to do when we arrive.
after the short brief i go and sit down.
'how are you?' i hear natasha say.
'i'm fine just a little tipsy from all the alcohol.' i say, obviously lying.
'steve we all know you see him as more then a friend. we are skilled assassins and gods the only people who can't see it are the two supersoldiers.' she says sympathetic.

'i don't know. what if he doesn't remember me anymore?' i say sad.
'then we will find a way to make him remember. you snapped him out of 70 years of brainwashing. it will work again, don't worry.' she says.
we land at the base and adrenaline starts coursing through my vains.
'i'm coming.' i say quitely.

bucky's p.o.v.

i don't know what day it is but they told me i have another mission.
killing a minister or whatever, i honestly don't care.
all of a sudden i hear shouts and crashes coming from the base.
the door is kicked in and a man with a star on his chest walkes in.
'bucky?' he says with sympathy in his eyes.
i take one of my guns and point it at him.

'hey bucky , it's me steve.
do you remember me?'he says while putting his shield down.
'no' i say emotionless.
'okay bucky i'm your friend.
remember all the times you pulled me out of back-alleys.
when you needed to patch me up.
remember after the battle with thanos you came to live with me.
and we watched all those old shows.
you loved them.please don't forget me, you're all i have bucky.' he swallows and looks down then looks back up ' i love you james buchanan barnes.' all of a sudden everything comes back.

steve.
this is steve.
the steve i couldn't forget.
pulling him out of back-alleys,
being chased by an angry alpacca.
eating with the avengers.
falling in love.
i am in love with steven grant rogers.
the gun falls out of my hands and i run to him.
when i'm in front of him i stop,
with slight hesitation in put my lips on his.

first he is a little surprised but then he kisses back.
it's so sweat , his lips are so soft.
his lips taste like.......scotch?
'have you been drinking?'
i ask.
'that's the first thing you ask after being locked up for 3 months.'
he laughs.
'i thought you forgot me.' i say.
'bucky i would never forget you.'
he says.
'i love you too.' i blurt out.
he puts a hand on my cheek and kisses me again.

'ah how fascinating. unfortunately this is not gonna last long.' we look up and see the commander standing above us with a gun pointed at us.
he's about the pull the trigger when he is blasted back.
'you lay a finger on our ship you'll regret it.' tony says.
'our ship has sailed.' sam shouts.
we laugh.
'so when's the wedding.' everything goes quite.
'i'm kidding guys.' natasha laughs.
we all go to the quinjet and before we even start flying bucky is already asleep on my shoulder.
