"Did I say you could move?" He thumped his fist into my kidney. "You fucking pervert. Getting turned on, were you?"
"Jesus no!" I protested.
He dropped my arm and yanked me around to face him.
"Did you just take the Lord's name in this house?" He looked directly at me, his voice eerily calm.
I made an attempt to get past him and out of the door, even though I knew I had no chance. He put his beefy arm in the way blocking my exit.
"I'm sorry," I panicked.
He kneed me in the groin.
"You won't be thinking dirty thoughts now," he said.
I tried to crumple to the floor but he grabbed me by the neck. I had to stand up, as I started spluttering for air. He pummelled me in the stomach a few times and then threw me up against the wall, my head banging hard. He let me fall to the ground, one hand on my sore head, the other on my stinging groin.
"I'm going to tell someone, I am going to tell what you have been doing to me," I yelled from my position.
Tony laughed deeply and landed a kick in my side. I howled. He grabbed me by the hair.
"Who is going to believe you?" he snorted. "I'm a policeman. People love me here." His expression darkened. "If you do, I'll hurt you like I never have before. What happens in this house, stays in this house."
I looked at him, my hope fading.
"Come back over here Tony," cooed Mum.
He landed a goodbye kick in my side.
"Get out of here you little shit."
As I heaved myself off the ground and limped out of the room, I heard Mum say, "Oh Tony, I am so turned on by you right now."
After this incident, I felt so powerless. I began to dream about how I would one day beat the shit out of Tony. Have him be afraid of me. Unfortunately my 15 year old body wasn't exactly much of a match up right now. I couldn't compete with him now but I began to formulate a long term plan: one day I would have my revenge.
Chris Gets A Glimpse
Chris threw the mini rugby ball to me and I caught it. Music played gently from his phone as we sat surrounded by our books. Chris's parents were out for the evening and had asked Mum if she would mind him coming around here. I very rarely was allowed friends over so I was pleased. We said we would get on with our homework, so as all good teenagers do, we were ignoring it and hanging out. I lobbed it back over to him.
"Seriously," Chris continued. "It was the perfect ending. I don't get why so many idiots - like yourself - think the last season was anything but epic." The ball sailed towards me.
I snatched it out of the air. "How can you say that? It was just so rushed."
"But the battles man..."
Chris wouldn't hear a bad word said about Game of Thrones and we had had this conversation a million times.
I heard the front door slam. Mum had gone to pick Hannah up from one of her activities. She must have flown to be home so fast.
"Jacob," his voice boomed. I tensed, my eyes flicking to Chris.
"Jesus, he made me jump," he said smiling.
