➻ ❛will you?❜

Stop there with your burnt arms and parched soul
Why do you tolerate this raging fire, like a black hole?
Lilacs and lavenders once bloomed in you but
Now I just see the ashes of a long lost city
Bloom again, will you?

I see torture in your eyes, pain that reflects mine
One or two stitches, but the wounds count to be nine
I had my faith in your heaven where holy rivers flowed
Now I feel you in every beautiful soul that I meet
Turn back again, will you?

Endless oceans come to your eyes, an invisible barrier
Tears that were too dense to resurface the exterior
Scarlet sunset lights used to leave an afterglow
Now I desperately search for something to hold on
Say that code word again, will you?

Our kingdom didn't stand against the fiery storm
We were broken inside, our mental traitors led to its deform
Stories like ours were like forest-fires, too quick to spread
Now I stand on the remains of the only home I ever had
Please, forgive me again, will you?

Stay alive for me, will you?

Come back to that little pathway, will you?

Save me when they insult me, will you?

Re-write our story with a perfect ending
Or maybe without an ending, as you're the poet,
Will you?
