"Really?" His eyes kind of get a glisten to them.

"Of course. How much is rent?"

"2000." He sighs.

"Okay, I'll pay 1000 you pay 1000."

"You'd actually do that for me?" A very small smile grows on Vinnie's face which makes me smile.

"Of course. I know we haven't even known each other for a full day yet, but Vinnie." I say, shifting my body to face him. "I can already tell you are an amazing guy and you don't deserve someone who's going to cheat on you and treat you like shit when you have given her a place like this to live."

The glisten in his eyes fade but his eyes soften as they fill with tears. "Then what do i deserve?" He looks down his eyes trail back up to meet mine.

The car go silent and the only thing you can hear is breathing.

"I- uh- I-" My stuttered, cut off words go between a whisper and my normal voice.

The car goes silent again and the eye contact grows stronger. Vinnie leans in a bit and glances down at my lips then back at my eyes.

"No." I mouth while slightly shaking my head.

I glance down at his lips and an overwhelming urge to lean in takes over me. I fight it for a few seconds and eventually, at the same time, we both lean in and our lips touch. Vinnie sets his hand on the back of my head to deepen the kiss. I unbuckle my seat belt and adjust my body as Vinnie pulls me over the center console, onto his lap. His tongue grazes my bottom lip, asking for entrance. I ignore it and Vinnie moves his hand from my back down to my ass and squeezes it. I gasp a little and go to pull away but Vinnie holds my head still and slips his tongue in my mouth. I can feel his smirk through kiss. I pull away and set my hands on his chest.

"I can't be your rebound, Vinnie." I say as i bite my lip, nervously.

"Right." Vinnie's voice trails off and my breath grows heavy again.

I lean back in and we pick up where we left off. We make out for a few more minutes before i pull away again.

"Nope. Not happening." I giggle and open his car door.

Vinnie laughs, opening the car door and slides out from underneath me. He walks around to my side of the car and grabs my crutches.

"What a gentleman." I say smiling.

Vinnie blushes and carefully pulls me out of the car. He hands me my crutches as i thank him and we walk in to his house.
