Vinnie hesitates for a little. "You're beautiful."
My heart and stomach fills with butterflies and i look down and smile.
"I mean it Lilith."
"You need glasses" I giggle as i slowly look back up at him.
We meet eye to eye and he still has this perfect smile still on his face.
"Come here, come with me." Vinnie holds out his hand and glance between me and his hand a few times.
Questioning where we're going, i get no response but continue to follow him through the house. He opens the door to the bathroom and flicks on the light, pulling me into the bathroom. He closes the door behind us and positions me right in front of the the mirror.
Vinnie inhales "You see that girl right there?" He asks pointing in the mirror. I nod my head and he continues, "That girl right there is the most beautiful, most perfect girl in the world. And any guy would be absolutely SO lucky to be able to call her his girlfriend. She has a smile that can light up a room, a laugh so cute, it's contagious, but most importantly she's got the biggest heart out of anyone i know. She cares beyond what she knows how to show and that's what makes her beautiful. Not just her looks... that too."
I was speechless. I didn't know what to do except stand there and blush. Finally something clicks. "So about that girlfriend thing..."
"Ah yes..." Vinnie chuckles. "The million dollar question..."
"I mean the million dollar question is asking someone to marry you but, proceed." I say giggle as i get a playful dirty look from vinnie.
"Lil, can i be the man lucky enough to call you his girlfriend?"
I nod excitedly and jump into his arms. He smiles and we celebrate with a kiss.
"Now, go get dressed in something nice, we're going on a date."
I nod and walk back to my room, opening my closet. I find a short, silk blue dress and put it on.

I curl my hair slightly and do a nude makeup look to match my heels.
"Lil you ready?" Vinnie asks, knocking on my door.
"Yeah, just a sec!" I say taking one last look in the mirror before walking out of the bathroom. I open the door and he is standing there in a nice shirt and dress pants holding flowers.
I smile as he hands me the flowers. I bring them up to my nose, and gently smell them. "I love them Vin, thank you."
