There's trouble in paradise they say
A folly for which I pay
So selfish am I, that I put my pain first
When the pain that she'll feel is several times worseKeep calm and carry on it goes
A comfort for those who can tow
But the weight I carry, of my messy thoughts
Has tangled me up in despair and remorseFlames shine bright in the dark
Said a fool with a working heart
So broken is mine that it's fire once divine
Did slowly get choked as the light turned to smokeI want to be happy and I feel for this girl
So much do I feel I made her my world
But I'm desperate for the man that I used to be
For that man loved the girl and what we could beA.L
