So I got a new update from wattpad day in hope that they finally fixed their mistake in taking away offline reading but instead received nothing of what I had hoped. Instead this update was about earning free coins on wattpad so you can read paid stories:

You can earn up to 2 coins a day. To earn the coins you need to watch an ad. I mean, this marketing technique is quite good. Wattpad is including EVERYONE not just the premiums, but that doesn't mean they get a pass. I look forward to seeing future updates regarding offline reading wattpad
