Sharon said, "You have got some nice abs."
I smiled, "You don't look half bad yourself."
Sharon laughed, "And I thought you were going to start stammering again."
We swam a few laps in the adult region and walked over to the slides in the kids zone. Sharon was exhilarated and took multiple rounds.
I asked, "Wanna take one together?"
Sharon said, "Did I hear you wrong or did you just ask me to go on the slide wrapped in your arms?"
"Forget I said anything."
Sharon laughed and grabbed my wrist. We walked to the top of the slide. I sat down behind Sharon and wrapped my arms around her waist. I could hear my heart pounding as we slid down.
When we came out at the end Sharon turned around and kissed at the corner of my mouth. I died a little just then.
Sharon said, her face unbearably close to mine, "Buy me an ice-cream."
