"-good breakfasts."

This made me crack a smile before it gave way to a hushed giggle.

"Maybe you start attempting to ask your father if you could come over."

I turned and began walking back over to the kitchen where Luka stood observing us silently, the blonde bending down to pet Snickers.

"Time to get cookin'- wait Adrien can feed Snickers. The scooper is in the-"

"Cabinet under the sink, I got it."

I nodded, Adrien had fed Snickers multiple times at this point. He always hung around when it was late, right around Snickers's dinner time.

He made his way over to Snickers's bowl, and I turned back to face the guitarist. He had a strange look on his face for a split second but schooled it quickly, replacing it with a lazy simper.

"So what are we making?"

I started to move around him, grabbing ingredients out of the cabinets and fridge.

"I'm thinking pancakes, eggs, and maybe one of you can cut up some fruit."

I reached into the crisper to grab the container of strawberries, which Luka promptly plucked out of my hands.

"Cutting board still next to the stove?"

"Yep, don't drop it like last time. We actually need to be quiet this time."

Last time I cooked with Luka we were making a type of stew and he had dropped the cutting board while I was using the bathroom down the hall. Effectively scaring me stiff. Now we had a living room of sleeping guests.

He bumped me with his hip coyly.

"I'll do my best head chef~"

"I'll help out too."

I looked to my left at the blonde leaning against the fridge, staring at the two of us with a tight smile.

"Why don't you get all the silverware out and set it on the island, will probably just eat in the living room anyway."

He nodded and the three of us got to work on our tasks.

Just as I was getting ready to add the chocolate chips to the pancakes I felt a tap on my shoulder in Luka's direction. I turned to see him busy with his task. I looked back the other way confused, to be met with Adrien. His handful of chocolate chips from the open bag on the counter. I shot him a glare and slapped his hand away, which did nothing. Before I could do it once more he caught it and smirked at me. One of those perfect model smiles, my frown deepened into a sour look. He pouted while still holding my hand.

"You wound me y/n."

He gave a dramatic sigh, which I returned with a 'really' look.

"Suffer."

I turned back to finish the pancakes, snatching the bag of chocolate chips away. Adrien gasped in mock horror. Luka chuckled to himself at the two of us, and eventually, we joined in. The tension that was there prior seemed to shatter and we fell into a calm routine of cooking while slipping jokes to one another.

Eventually, everyone started to wake up to the smell of the food. I laughed at their sleepy forms shuffling over to the kitchen one by one. Each took a plate and silverware as I set the final stack of pancakes out for people to take. Everyone filled up their plates and made their way back to the living room all huddled facing the TV.

Caleb, Jake, and I squeezed onto the small couch. I sat with my back leaning into the side of Caleb and my legs dangling over Jake's lap. We chatted over the TV for a bit, also letting Adrien explain why he suddenly appeared at the house. I poked at my pancakes and started eating all the chocolate chips out of them.
