Different Light
When you seek inspiration to write, look around you. But look at things with a different light.
A blade of grass is not simply food for your lawnmower, it is a plush carpet of green.
Fallen leaves are not a cursed pest you have to rake, it's natures blanket, protecting life for another harsh winter.
Dust is not another part of your dreaded cleaning routine, it is a mysterious mist that appears as the sun's rays shine through your window on a beautiful spring morning.
Your job is not that 5 day a week drudge that you have to do. It is way for you to be able to enjoy all the things in life that you share with those that you love.
A messy room is not a sign of laziness or contempt, but more so a reason for you to experience the joy of a job well done, when it is cleaned up.
There are stories everywhere and the inspiration is right in front of you, hindered only by the ability to let your mind free.
