The name caught me by surprise, I recognised it from somewhere but couldn’t put my finger on it.
“Well aren’t you going to acknowledge me, Miss Believer?” the person asked, I could tell they were standing behind my.
I smirked, “Nope. I think I’ll sit here and wait for another four and a half hours till the wall is able to open again,”
The person scoffed, “Turn around you stubborn girl,” they said.
I scrunched up my face, balling my fists, standing up, I turned on the ball of my feet, I swing my fist at them, the force making them stumble back a few places.
Well that was stupid, you don't even know them, how could they know you were a boy?
They recovered, standing straight up, covering their eye, “Definitely who I’m looking for. I am Fragile Capricorn,” a smirk graced their lips, as they held out their spare hand.
I rolled my eyes, “Pronouns?” I questioned, shaking their hand cautiously.
“What? Oh, male?” he stated, a tinge of confussion in his tone as he looked me up and down.
I clicked in his face, “My eyes are up here and mine are he/him, so unless you’re into guys, stop perving at my curves,” I said, crossing my arms.
Fragile cleared his throat, looking back up at my eyes, “I wasn’t perving at you for starters, second, I have a husband and I don’t plan on breaking his heart, third, you’re not my type, fourth, I approve of my daughter’s taste and finally, lets go,” he stated, leaving me to figure out all the information he had just given me.
He grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the road.
I followed, noticing a car parked, I glanced at Fragile to see him still cradling his eye.
“Should you be driving?” I questioned, genuinely worried about both of our safeties.
He laughed, “What. Are you scared?” he asked, letting go of my hand.
I scoffed, “No. I am worried that without your full field of vision we may crash though."
“I have been trained in medical practices. I am absolutely fit to drive, you didn’t hit me hard enough to cause permanent damage. I am now puzzled to what your role in the other gang was. Your reputation shows that you were a fighter, your consciousness has that matched of a healer but your fighting skills show that you were trained for battle as well,” he says, walking around the other side of the car, hopping inside.
I got inside the car, “I was trained as a healer originally, by Piggyback. But when Helena took over control of the ‘rmy, she saw potential in me and placed me in the fighting group. I was trained with a group of others," why am I telling this stranger my personal information as if we've known each other my whole life? "Anyway, I hate being so feared, makes it hard to make friends,” I say as he drives, watching the road pass by through the window.
“Well, I am sure that Mad will let you be whatever you want to be. But a word of advice, in the clique, his name is Semi-Automatic and he is our leader,” he says as the car comes to a stop.
“Semi-Automatic, got it,” I say as we hop out.
“Follow me. The Clique will kill you almost instantly if we go that way,” he stated, pointing at what looked to be the entrance to the building.
I shrugged, following him.
He led me off to the side where there was another entrance, disguised as the building.
“Wait here,” he said, walking over to the door and knocking in a pattern.
The door opened to reveal another person, he was just shorter than me, he had brown hair and glasses on.
“Oh good. You’re back. Uh, Cat isn’t happy that you left, neither is boss. He uh-” the other person stopped when they saw me.
I waved, feeling anxious, I didn’t like people staring at me, within reason.
“You found the missing initiate?” the other person questioned.
