As the lesson was now over, Lino and Rosa were headed back to the house. This time, he was at the front while she was behind him.

"What about Suzu?" She decided to ask him.

He looked at her for a moment before he faced forward. "My boy, Wicho, is on it. He's my IT guy and he's real good. He's checked the hospitals and the morgues, and she's not there, so that means she's alive."

That should be a good thing, right? She's alive and not dead. If that was a good thing, then why does Rosa feel like something wasn't right?

"Listen, I told you I'd find her," he told her.

She shook her head a little. "I don't know. To me it seems like it's taking a little too long."

"And it would take longer if you were the one looking for her, especially by yourself," he pointed out. "For now, I'd... I'd like for you to take a shower."

She scoffed. "That's a real confidence boost."

"No." He shook his head. "A confidence boost is me saying not only are you a badass with medicine but a badass with one of these." He lifted the gun to prove his point.

"That..." She snorted. "I guess I'll take that." She looked at him and actually had an amused smile.

Seeing her smile made him smile, considering it was probably the first real smile she has ever made since the first time they met.

"Do you know if you're going anywhere?" Gloria asked as she sat in the bathroom while Rosa took a shower.

It wasn't weird that Gloria was in the bathroom while she showered. It wouldn't be weird if Gloria was taking a shower and Rosa was in the bathroom. They were basically keeping a lookout for each other in case anyone decided to be weird and walked in while one of them was showering.

"Honestly? No." She stood under the showerhead to wash the shampoo off. "But something tells me I am because he's making my ass take a shower."

"Honey, you needed it in the first place," Gloria teased. "That was just his way of letting you know lightly."

She scoffed. "Thanks, Gloria." She chuckled. It was quiet for a moment before she said, "I don't want to go anywhere. I don't want to be somewhere knowing you're still here by yourself."

"I'm not by myself though. I'm with Isobel, remember?"

"Yeah, but I know Pollo is gonna be on your ass now that he and I'll be gone."

Gloria sighed. "Like I said-"

"Okay, but if something happens when I'm gone you better tell me." She turned off the water after that.

"You'll get yourself in trouble and we both know that's not a want."

"Maybe, but I'm safe, remember? And if I'm safe then you're safe." She twisted her hair to drain some excess water before she grabbed a towel and wrapped it around her hair. She went to grab another towel but realized there was only one. She sighed in annoyance. "Can you hand me another towel, please?"

Gloria got up and went to grab another one for her. She handed it to her before she went and stood near the mirror. When she caught sight of herself in the mirror, she looked away right away.

"I saw there was a dress and shoes on the bed," she told her when she stepped out of the shower. "I'm assuming he left them for you."

Rosa rolled her eyes. "Is the dress revealing? Will I look like a hooker?"

"Depends on what you mean by revealing and no?" Gloria tilted her head. "I don't think you'll look like a hooker."

"How revealing is it?" She asked as she went to the room and saw the dress. "Oh." She tilted her head as she took a closer look. "Not too bad I guess." She turned to look at her friend. "Help me dry my hair?"

Gloria smiled at her. "Yeah."

After Rosa got her undergarments, dress, and shoes on, and her hair dried, she was completely finished.

"You know I got in trouble last night," Rosa told her as she ran her fingers through her hair a bit.

"Wait, what?" Gloria furrowed her brows. "What do you mean you got in trouble last night? What'd you do?"

"I took his pocketknife." She saw the disappointed look on her face. "What? He had his jeans out and it was in one of the pockets, hence why it's called a pocketknife."

"Oh my gosh, Rosa." Gloria shook her head as she covered her eyes with her hands. "I...I can't with you right now."

"He didn't do anything to me, so don't worry," she reassured her. "That man won't do shit."

"Okay, but if you do something like that again then he most likely will." She took a deep breath before she said, "Maybe even do something to me to get back at you." And the thought of it sent shivers down her spine.

If only you knew, Rosa thought to herself. He basically told her that, but Gloria didn't need to know.

"Well, I-"

A knock on the door interrupted her. The two girls looked to see who knocked only to reveal Isobel leaning against the doorway.

"Well, don't you look pretty," Isobel said with a smile.

Rosa looked at Gloria. "Quick, throw me something that'll make me look hideous."

Gloria snorted. "I don't need to, she's just lying so she won't hurt your feelings."

"Awesome," Rosa said with two thumbs up.

Isobel knew they were joking and she couldn't help but smile. "I was told to tell you to meet him at the front of the house now. I can tell him you're not done if you want me to."

"No," Rosa shook her head, "I'm done." She smiled at her. "Thank you, though." She turned to Gloria. "Walk with me?"

"Yeah."

The three girls headed to the front of the house, but Rosa walked further, leaving the two behind.

When she was walking, she didn't like the fact she got the attention of most of the guys. She could practically feel them undressing her with their eyes. The idea of it disgusted her. When she would catch any of the guys looking at her, she would practically glare at them until they looked away.

When she reached Lino, she relaxed a bit because she knew they wouldn't try anything if he was around.

He was leaning against the car holding a box. It was opened, but when he heard her footsteps he immediately closed it. He turned to look at her, doing a double-take.

"¿Estás," he cleared his throat, "¿Estás listo?"

"Sadly, yeah, I'm ready."

He got leaned away from the car before he went and opened the door for her. Once she was inside, he went to the other side and got in the car.

Soon, they left the house and were on the road.
