Size doesn't always matter

"And then what?"The blonde impatiently said,pacing around the living room,her arms folded around her chest and one of her hands under her chin for support.

Pieces of paper,maps and records were scattered all over the place,Jade was covered in a huge pile of news reports whilst Jesy was sipping from a hot,steaming cup of coffee.She was going through pictures and footage captured by some CCTV's,trying to put two and two together.

"I haven't thought of the next step yet,patience."Jade calmly stated,rubbing her temples.

"This is ridiculous,both Perrie and I know he won't show his face just like that"Jesy sighed and got up from where she was sitting on the couch.She set the laptop on the coffee table and signalled towards the piles of papers"He's now paying people to do his dirty work.He's keeping a low profile"

The blonde suddenly snapped her fingers and pointed at Jesy frantically"I know how to get his attention"She smirked and caught the older women's attention.

"Do tell"

"We give him what he wants"She pointed to herself.

Jade shook her head and dropped the records she was holding seconds before"Absolutely not.Nope.And if I wasn't clear enough... No"

Perrie scoffed and threw her hands in the air"It could work!"

"No we're not using you as bait and that's final"

Jesy seemed to be lost in her thoughts for a bit.She eventually started nodding her head"It could work though"She shrugged and received a deadly glare from the shorter officer"What?I'm not suggesting just leaving her in the middle of nowhere alone with him"She clarified"We could pick an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts and observe from afar..."

Jade shook her head again and walked past the other two women growling"We're doing this my way" before she left the room.

"But Jade we can't involve the police,this one's personal"Perrie whined from the backseat of Jesy's car.

Jesy took her eyes off the road for a few seconds to give Jade the "she's right" look before she started tapping her fingers on the wheel impatiently"Fucking truck" she mumbled underneath her breath.Rolling the window down she stuck her head out and checked the visibility and traffic.

"We can't face him alone"Jade pointed out"Just imagine how many armed men he's gonna have around"she grunted and rested her hand on the door.

Jesy growled and in a swift movement the car flew on the left side of the road.She pushed the pedal and they were now right next to the truck,almost as if in a race.

"If you bring the cops,Jesy and I are out"The young detective argued as she folded her arms around her chest and sat back.

Jade scoffed and sat up.She managed to turn around enough to glare at Perrie in the backseat"Do you really wish to die that much?"

In exchange,Perrie also sat up and she threw her hands in the air"Don't you see that he wants me?!"She barked"He's now killing left and right to get to me,that's so unfair Jade!"Taking a small break to breathe in,she calmed herself down a bit"If by surrendering myself I spare other people's lives then so be it"

Their feud was interrupted by a couple loud honks coming from their friend who was angrily gripping the wheel,her muscles tense.

"Oi!Let me pass you fucker!"She middle fingered at the truck driver who didn't even bother to look in the mirror or out the window"You two better buckle up"She spat out and in a split second they could feel their bodies being pushed back by a force due to the speed at which Jesy was going.
