A certain pink haired gem ran through the halls of the castle, looking rather worried, scared and done for as she looked behind her to see if anything was following her.

As of now, there weren't any gems she needed to deal with but sooner or later, she knew that she would soon face with more gems than she could handle.

Tears were beginning to invade her magenta eyes, panic rising in her chest as she remembered what she had done to cause all of this distress.

Earlier today, whilst in the throne room of the diamonds, she had noticed the way the three would treat her, how they would speak to her as if she was Pink Diamond herself and how she was 'Pink Diamond's Lost Treasure' and not treat her as Spinel. So she had suddenly lost her temper and attacked the three with all the strength she could muster, only to regret it after she had realized that she had basically attacked the Diamonds.

All Spinel wanted was to try and forget, to move on and to live a better life without being reminded of the person that left her so many years ago. The same person that turned her into this. And it seems as if going back to homeworld was a bad idea. What made her think it was a good idea anyways? The Diamonds were people like her! Like Pink! It was quite foolish of her to think they were any different. In fact, they are probably worse than Pink considering the genocide they have caused. She realized how stupid it was to come here in the first place, these three have been missing Pink for years, if Steven wasn't going to be Pink Diamond then she has to be Pink diamond.

She wonders if Steven wanted her to come with them so that he could get them and her off his back.

Maybe it was her desperation to be found the reason why she came and not considered the consequences. Steven made it sound so easy, so fun, so... Ugh. But then again, she isn't Steven, she doesn't have the courage in her to try and confront the diamonds. She missed the (h/c) girl she met when she lost her memories, she was the only one who seemed genuine towards her but hey, maybe that was fake too!

So she ran, and ran, and ran and ran, not knowing where she would want to go, not knowing where she should hide.

And finally, after what felt like hours of running, and the sound of guards' running steps passing her, she found an old room to hide in, hidden from everyone else's view which was the perfect hiding place. So she entered.

She looked around the room, eyes adjusting to the darkness, and lo and behold, there in the middle was what seemed to be a warp, forgotten and cracked unlike what the Diamond's have in their throne room.

The Pink gem slowly stepped onto the warp, careful not to activate it as she examined it more. It was quite funny how much this broken and forgotten warp reminded her of herself, she wondered how long this thing had been in here, unused and dirty.

But the main question she asked in her head was- does it work?

There is a saying, 'Curiosity killed the cat.', which would be rather fitting for the situation as Spinel had suddenly made the warp glow an unusually pink color, a gasp leaving her lips before she was warped away into the unknown. Her body feeling frizzy as a cold chill seemed to have blown through her body, her head feeling light for what seemed to be hours before she felt her whole body again.

Getting enough courage, she opened her eyes and gasped, a loud cry escaping her lips as she saw the many bodies of what appeared to be other gems, their bodies grey and dull, much like White Pearl's except their eyes were all blank and soulless, their bodies mangled and twisted in every direction as they tried to reach out to her and spoke gibberish words she could only make out as 'Help'... Or was it 'Hope'?

And then, there was a loud booming voice that tore through the sounds of gurgles and chokes, Spinel's wide and frightened eyes looking up to see a giant woman, almost as tall as White Diamond looking down at her and tilting her head to the side, the side of her face drooping as if she was melting.

"What's this?" The figure spoke, her voice distorted yet calming at the same time. It bothered Spinel so much that she could feel a chill run down her spine and her skin tingle with fear. She could spot what appeared to be a rock in her chest, much like Blue diamond's except this was a color gray and cracked in every edge.

"Has homeworld finally called back?" She blinked, one eye at the time before trying to bend down to Spinel's height. And speaking of the pink gem, she was on the warp, frozen in fear and shock from the distorted gurgles of these creatures. Whatever they are. Her surroundings seem to be nothing but pure static, and she asked herself for a mere second if she was in some sort of Gem Hell.

She wished she was away from here, anywhere besides this place. Panic soon rises in her chest as the woman's hand reached out towards her, attempting to try and grab her but the blinding light of the warp had fortunately kept her from doing so as the Pink gem was once again transported to another, hopefully better, place.

"(Y/n)!"

The familiar voice of Steven called out to the (h/c) haired girl, her head turning away from her two other friends, Lars and Sadie, to look at the 17 year old teen with a brow arched in confusion.

"Steven? What's up?" She asked, a bit worried for the boy as he stopped in front of them and panted.

"Yeah, you look like something bad had happened." Sadie snickered lightly and nudged Lars who smiled.

"Is another gem trying to take over Earth or something again?"

(Y/n) snickered at the couple, rolling her (e/c) eyes before turning back to the teen who now had his posture straightened and although he was still panting, he looked much better than he did before and asked her question again.

"It's Spinel,"

As those words left Steven's lips, she could feel the mood around them turning dark and intense as Lars and Sadie's expression fell and turned frightened.

"Why? What happened to her? Is she okay?" (Y/n) asks, genuinely concerned making Lars look at her with shock and disbelief.

"'Is she okay'?! (Y/n) are you hearing yourself? May I remind you that Spinel is the gem that tried to destroy the Earth!" Lars reasoned but it seemed that the girl in front of him didn't want to back down from defending the other gem.

"She was going through a lot of stuff! You wouldn't understand! She's a nice gem!"

"Guys!" Steven interjected, throwing his hands up in the air in what seemed to be frustration from all the yelling.

"Hey, don't look at me, I'm just looking out for my best friend. I don't want you to get hurt!" Lars spoke as Sadie tries her best to calm him down. (Y/n) could only cringe at how he spat out those two words, she understood him, but then he shouldn't judge people especially if they haven't met her. (Y/n) herself have and they had always enjoyed their time with each other.

Amidst that, she had actually hoped it would blossom to something more, but then Steven decided to phrase things the wrong way and now they were here. And she wouldn't want to admit it, but she missed Spinel.

Not that you were blaming Steven of course.

She turned back to the said teen, finally wanting to hear the news about the pink gem, her worry returning as she suddenly got a bad feeling rising within her.

"It's Spinel, she's gone."
